HR and his character was everything in that movie. 
I am sorry but I will not excuse HR's character either in K3G. He also kept crying and got emotional at every little thing.
Rahul and Anjali were comic relief in this movie.

The moment Laddo won the cricket match, his life was ruined, the dadi-Nani duo started crying endlessly and then he went back to see the entire stupid family crying. Except the cute DJ, DJ cried only when she found out who he really was 
DJ and Laddo the most sensible characters.
