in my opinion a superstar is someone who is known worldwide. Srk is known internationally but my coworkers don’t know who rk is lol srk was in ET American channel listing of hot actors along with Aish and other American actors that’s what you call superstar when international media talks about you. RK is forced PR claim while Srk and others are superstars reached there by fame. I only read about tripti on this forum, did not watch her movies.

maybe he did recommend tripti for the movie and this performance instead of performing on stage with rashmika. I have not seen the movie, not sure how any of them are in the movie.
