Ehhh I love Ash but really, let’s not pretend that the major reason why she married B Jr, ISNT, b/c he’s a Bachchan. One has to be terribly naive or plain blind to not know that. And while Ash was absolutely a MASSIVE catch, B Jr was a huge catch too!! For the surname, yes, but also b/c he had started doing well then & there was hope of him becoming an A-Lister. He’s also one of the vvv few genuinely nice men in BW, so it seemed like a brilliant match on-paper.

As for Kat, she’s been with massive Superstar & a future Superstar with a powerful surname & we all know how both those relationships ended & how abusively & terribly they treated her. So she decided to marry someone who seems to love & respect her. Idk what people mean when they say Kaushal isn’t good-looking! He’s handsome! He’s very tall (6’3-4), dances vv well & best of the lot- Is an EXCELLENT actor!!! He has all the potential to become an A-Lister. Kat did well.

I never understood what Sridevi saw in him. Especially when Anil and Sanjay have similar looks but don't look as grotesque as Boney. If he was a good man underneath, his looks would not be a problem but considering he left one wife to die from cancer, abandoned his first kids, and may or may not have killed his second wife for insurance policy money, it's hard to really consider him much of a catch. There are stories out there that Sridevi and Boney weren't really happy by the end and she felt forced in this marriage.

Interestingly enough, I've heard a rumor that in the 90s Sridevi and Anil had a brief affair as well so this family has always just been too messed up for its own good.

Apparently investigation was being done that prior to that wedding she attended, she was given a poison that cannot be traced but cause organ failure.

I have no idea what she saw in him. His wife died of heartbreak. The cancer came after he left her I believe. I think she just wanted someone to look after her and love her and fell for his shit.

Sridevi unfortunately had a very unorthodox childhood (if you could consider it a childhood at all) and she had a pattern of falling for attached men and trying to get them to dump their families. It's said even with Boney that she made a fuss about him not being allowed to meet his kids anymore once he was married to her so Sridevi herself was no saint. The entire way she died and the way the investigation was so mysterious and hushed up is what made things so suspicious. She deserved better. So did Arjun, his sister and mother.

I didn't know about Anil and Madhuri but Madhuri seemed linked with just about every man in the 90s.

Didn't Sridevi's mom die around the time she first met Boney or started getting close to him? I think he filled that void in her life since she always had someone to control her and watch over her. Yes, Boney's first wife didn't get cancer until much after he left her but it's still more than a coincidence that both women died so horrifically and needlessly.

Showbiz and it's fake glamour behind the curtain is enormously ugly as we know it.

I think Mona even befriended SD while they were living together so that makes the betrayal worse.

They all seem to lose their values and morals once they become famous.
