Is Thursday a holiday in India?? Any reason why they decided to release Dunki on a Thursday and not on a Friday??

Not a holiday. I am also not quite sure

Did they decide to shift to Thurs after Salaar decided to clash ? if so, then probably a strategy to showcase the content of the movie and get good WOM going before Salaar hits theaters. Would give them leverage for single screens

No Dunki was always going to release on 21st Dec.....just now it got me thinking that why a non-holiday and why not Friday?
