It didn’t. Tripti is getting recognition not because of her talent but because of her sex scenes. Vedang is only recognized by people like us whose voices are being drowned by the voices of the media and sycophants of these nepo kids. Long way to go comrades.

I had watched Animal yesterday and I'm not sure if I can say I'm glad about Tripti's achievement (or lack of it) via the movie because of the obvious reasons. It seems she will have a bigger and better part in the sequel (if ever it is made). However, having watched Bulbul and Qala, I know the powerhouse of talent that she is and hopefully she will get bigger and better opportunities in Bollywood after Animal. She is a league of her own and will always be a league ahead of her contemporaries in terms of acting and screen presence.

Haven't watched Archies yet (don't intent to either) but I have been following Vedang's youtube channel for quite a while now. The guy is talented in music and if majority of reviews are touting him as the best thing about this flick, he must surely have the screen presence. I will watch out for his future projects. Might as well have watched Archie had he been the one crooning the song instead of you-know-who..

So yes, the outsiders have proved their mettle beyond a smidgen of doubt.. I, however, won't , for the fear of getting called out passive aggressively call them better than the scions and princesses of B'town...

Btw Ranbir is totally winning this week so not like nepotism has lost
