Tara doesn’t love Deva. She loves Mr. Malik, her boss. Though they are the same person, she doesn’t know that - and that makes the difference. When she thought he was Deva, she had a romantic dream. Deva now took the face of her boss. Now she thinks it was an error, Deva is dead and Deva Malik, another person, is the one catching her eye. For all we know, Tara had guilt for Deva but it wasn’t really something that would have stopped her from liking someone else or even getting married if she met someone she liked. Summarily, it’s her boss she has feelings for, not the ten year old friend she betrayed and wishes she didn’t. If fake Deva comes, Tara has no issues. She will feel guilty and want to overcompensate as a friend, but that doesn’t mean she will struggle with her feelings for her boss. To any human, those are not mutually exclusive AT ALL. It is Deva that would keep on having issues with this dichotomy of his identity. Because he will be sensitive enough to know that something is building between him and Tara, but will be jealous that the guilt and apology meant for him is given to another man before him, and also be torn between upset that Tara ma’am is so unburdened as to fall in love and happiness that she is in love with him and bitterness that him being direct with his identity now may ruin everything and confusion whether to first expose that faker or take revenge 🤣. Tara’s feelings has nothing to do with child Deva, and these new episodes just show us they both are just going through the normal stages of adult attraction. Analogy for Tara’s dream: If you thought say Beyoncé was going to be your new neighbor, you would be happy and imagine conversations between you two. You would have a face for your imagination. But you find out it’s not her and it is some normal girl, you will still stan Beyonce hard and be friendly to the girl - which are not mutually exclusive. To Tara, she can still have a relationship with her boss and still try to patch up with Deva if he ever returns. Now to her, he is dead, so it’s even less complicated to know what her state is now.
