While I somewhat agree with what he said, but he is not considering the result that follows. The quality of anything and everything is going down the drains in Bollywood. Audience have nothing good to enjoy, so they are compromising with whatever is available. Industry is trying to paint this compromise as grand success and comes up with something even worse and unimaginable.

It's Bollywood's capitalism. Trying to control demand n supply n making sure wealth n success remains in few hands n they always remain in power .

i think this should change due to AI technology....make a song put it in a software and check which voice would suite it .....but i am agaisnt this procedure ....songs earlier were made thinking about the voice in the mind , anu malik / rehman / sajid wajid were very sure on who will sing it,,,,,unlike new age composers like pritam and so on who make multiple version and select one out of all....

Shouldn't the composer have the understanding beforehand regarding what kind of voice is needed for a song and who is fit to achieve that result?

This is how any tom, dick, harry is becoming singer.

Whether it's dhwani, Neha, alia, shraddha, suhana r singing, tony n lot of regional singers.

alia shradha suhana etc are not professional singers. They singing one or two songs with autotune wont ruin anything. No one is expecting them to sing well. They sing for fun. It might hype up the movie.

The real issue is using autotune by “professional singers” and music labels with capitalist mind.
