I’m honestly LOVING the guest judges this season from Kavitaji to Mithoon to Shilpa and Armaan I’m loving it! They’re all there to celebrate music and it’s great to see, yet another reason I hope the TRPs do better because if there’s any season that deserves it is this one!! I hope they continue to bring more such guest judges and I’m such a huge Shilpa fan! I was fangirling over Shreya and Shilpa throughout this episode

Piyush - he rocked it! Proving he is versatile, and I don’t think I’ve heard this Junglee song sung on a show so it’s refreshing to hear it than the usual Mohd Rafi songs they end up getting to sing. He was having a lot of fun in the performance which shined through what energy! I’m surprised he didn’t get a Hit Lit thingy he totally deserved one!

Maithli - she did good but I think Rishi last season had done better with this song! I think this is her best performance yet though! Armaan had some sweet commentary! Her moment with her family was so cute!

Obum - thought it was weird that he didn’t sing an Armaan song! But Bolna is one of my absolute fave songs! He did amazing. He has such a sweet soothing voice his performance with Armaan was so good and so was Shreya’s little line she sang.

Ananya - she sang Ghar More Pardesiya and she sang it in a scale slower than the original, which I think harmed her performance a little. Plus she sang it more softly than required it’s such a high energy song and currently THE Diwali song, she could’ve done a lot more with it she played it safe I feel, it was still a great one. Again I recently heard Shreya sing it in concert so that’s fresh in my mind! It must be so daunting to sing the song with Shreya right there in front!! I love how Vishal fangirls over Shreya’s he’s totally me I’m surprised she got Hit Lit though

Shubodeep - Bulleya is one of my faves! Totally his forte of song! He was great! totally well deserved hit lit thing. The duet with Shilpa was great too! Loved seeing Shreya singing and dancing along to it

Utkarsh - kalank, again one of my fave songs and I’m so glad he sang the Main Tera part! Usually they skip over that which is the best part of the song! He did a great job with it it’s a difficult song!

Muskaan - Deewani Mastani ! I think some of them are getting nervous singing Shreya’s songs in front of her! And undoubtedly so! She did great but it was a controlled performance I thought she was a lot softer than was needed and she opened up as the song was going on and she ended on a great note! But I’m sorry when Shreya sang her bit her performance was forgotten. But it was SO sweet they brought out her siblings! I absolutely love those moments in the show.

Shilpa and Vishal singing Besharm Rang was so awesome!!

Gayatri being eliminated was sad

Piyush, Maithli and Utkarsh were superb for me in this episode.

Because of diwali I didn’t get to watch this weekend, thought saw Obum and Ananyas performance. But since we had people over, I couldn’t watch properly, I’ll try to catch up over the week

Sunday episode was mostly good. Far from perfect but there was a lot to like.

Piyush sang one of my least favorite songs in Bollywood history and made it tolerable. Great effort on his part.

Maithili was ok I guess. You can tell they're trying to have Maithili sing softer songs, since her opera style is so volatile.

Obom was very good. Easily my favorite performance of the first three on the show. He's so pleasant to listen to.

Ananya is now my second-favorite Ananya, only behind the one that was on SRGMP last year or the year before.

Subhadeep, I don't know. He's so talented and he did very good again, but I feel complacent whenever he sings now. He got his spotlight from this show, which is cool, but what else is there to gain for him? He's already won stuff, has a following, etc. It feels like he's taking a spot from people who need it so much more than he does. Sunday episode was fine.

Utkarsh has been a revelation. I've grown to really like him over the course of the season so far.

Muskaan was, again, amazing. Almost sounded like a carbon copy of Shreya for most of the song. I want her to go all the way to the finale.

Shreya, uff. She's too damn good.

Shilpa Rao was a solid guest and seemed to have a lot of fun.

Very sad about Gayathri being eliminated. There's a lot better singers than her, but she had a freshness to her voice that made me want to hear her every week. I can't say that about Anjana, Maithili and some of the others. But we all knew that the latter two weren't going to leave so quickly. I hope she gained enough from this stage to improve and carve a career for herself. There's a market for her voice and I hope she can maximize on it.
