No, only alternate week voting till early February and then final voting at the end of February before finale in first week of March as per Sonyliv TC on the website. So next voting will be next week and I guess first elimination too.

The Khichdi cast on the show was hilarious! Esp Supriya Pathak as Hansa she’s one of my faves idk if they picked comedic songs due to them but it was fun!

Gayatri - Pinga is a difficult song and she faltered a bit as pointed by Shreya

Vaibhav - Baawre was GREAT! Probably his best performance yet too good!

Mahima - same with as above she was great! A very different song from her usual songs and she nailed it!

And Kumar Sanu’s performance afterward was so splendid! Such a shame that this season isn’t getting the ratings it deserves when we get such awesome improvisations from the panel!

Surinder - he did great! But I’m not a fan of that song so I zoned out

The dude with the glasses (Dipan?) he was good too! Two very difficult songs and he did great and Vishal was right that he did great by having expressions and acting etc which elevated his performance

Menuka - Her singing Dikhaye Yun was so good and then she started Do Naina and it just elevated it to a whole another level I love hearing her sing. And the way the Khichdi cast kept on calling her beta I thought it was so sweet! And Shreya’s commentary was great too!


Anjana - I love her and I thought she did great I just wish they give her more softer songs now enough with the rockstar songs and my aunt pointed out how she sings all male songs up till now so hopefully that changes soon! She was my fave in junior and was versatile in that


Adya - Adya’s experimenting with her songs which is good! She did a good job but no where near Shreya(just recently heard her sing it in concert so that’s still fresh in my mind) the actual garba she sang was great! And Supriya performing in the middle was great too


I’m super excited for Shilpa Rao to come on Idol! Omfg she’s one of my absolute faves! I’m loving all the guest judges this season that are all musically based I so hope that her and Shreya sing Tere Hawale on the stage!

Kichdi episode thoughts:

Gayatri did a good job with a very difficult song. I'm glad Shreya told her what she needs to improve on. We need more clips of constructive criticism and advice on all singing shows. It's one of the main things that made singing shows special in the 90s and early 2000s but is often missing these days.

Vaibhav is a contender. I know he's funny but as far as his singing goes, people need to take him seriously because he can go very far.

Props to Mahima singing Eena Meena Deeka. It's way out of her usual element and risky, but it worked. I'd much rather hear singers like her perform this song, than the likes of Anjana and others with a different type of voice. It's a lot more palatable.

Kumar Sanu just, wow. Sometimes he goes out and flexes like this and you can't help but be awed by him.

Surendar is always fantastic. I say it all the time but I can hear him singing all day.

Dipan, like Gayatri, did a splendid job going out of his element and doing something different. It was a very tough task and he passed the test.

Menuka is the gem of the show. There's no way anyone else can be more worthy of winning this season than her. Even on a season this amazing, there is nobody above her.

I admittedly don't like most of Anjana's performances, but they did her dirty in this episode. Having her sing that song, on this show, after Menuka's classic gems? It's so jarring and I had to forward it within seconds of her starting.

Adya seemed lost. She barely sang half the song and when she did sing, she was either too quiet, was overshadowed by bad sound mixing that made the instrumental sound way louder than her, or was gasping for air. She was one of my early favorites but lately she's been deflating to listen to. It's like she peaked before the top 15 and is flailing and trying to keep from sinking.

I'm optimistic for Sunday's episode. Not excited for Piyush's performance this time, but the rest looks promising. Shilpa Rao deserves the spotlight so I hope she sings during the episode.

Menuka, Vaibhav & Mahima were the stars for me in this episode!

Episode of 11th November:

Gayatri wasn’t great, imho. I know the song was difficult but her pronunciation isn’t ever clear. I felt that the contestants doing the chorus overshadowed her performance. Shreya told her what she needs to improve on, which was good.

Vaibhav and Mahima are truly improving every week. I thoroughly enjoyed both their performances.❤️😍

Surendar was good. He isn’t my favourite but at least he is trying different genres every time, which is commendable.👏🏻

Dipan did a brilliant job moving away from his usual style and doing something different.👍🏻

Menuka was amazing as usual. Her voice projection is beautiful and she sings from the soul.💖

Anjana is now just getting on my nerves. All her performances seem the same. There is just one genre, one style and it’s now boring.🥱

Adya, though I love her voice, this performance of hers was the weakest. The participants in the chorus sang more than her.

Is there any rule these people have to sing songs of Shreya 's only? It's so repeattive feeling very odd must be very ego soothing for her lol

Hussain is soooo better than Aditya my god no shipping contestants or bad cringey flirting. These people are simple sing do their minimal 2 mins Rona dhona and go no dragging. I hope it continues and Shilpa sings so well.

Aditya made it cringey by flirting with Neha all the time and also shipping contestants.
