Why did a particular fangroup get so worked up over this episode RSDP didn't even mention anyone else other than themselves in the episode.

Is it because DP said onscreen she looks best with SRK and have great chemistry with Hrithik?

What is the point in rehashing the past? When she has been married for 5 years it just doesn’t make sense. Like she settled for a second hand. It just proves how lil respect she has for Ranveer her husband.
DP does come across as very strong headed so doubt any of this will affect her. But I really hope she retrospects and give her husband the love and respect he deserves.

I agree with you as it hadn't been necessary to do so...and it hurt Ranveer (one could see that it weren't only uncomfortable memories but also made him what now is labeled as 'safety net'). There had been more moments where one can see a quite uncomfortable Ranveer.

But Ranveer made a blunder, too, in rehashing a vision of the past that seemed to be just that - a vision (e.g. the first encounter). But I believe that he really was completely smitten and that both had the hots for each other.

They both (no, all the three) have their package of fears and uncertainties and longings...no doubt about that!

I can understand that people who are accustomed to another kind of KWK had been disappointed by the kind of emotional striptease where one can't be sure at all what exactly is done for the audience and what had been spur-of-the-moment narration.
