The "Best Pita" Conundrum

I was at a relative's place last night and caught a portion of the Star Urff Upma Parivaar Awards last night on TV ...In the awards for Best Pita , both Acche Pita and Kacche Pita were the nominees ....Expectedly AK did not get the award , I guess the news was fake , as only Abhinav from YRRKH got it ..Star Plus played it safe

Wat was hilarious was RG was asked to give her opinion on who she thought was best pita ...She declared few times that Vannu was without doubt bestest Pita in whole world , then added about mere Anooj also ...She kept defending both the choices for 2 mins or so after which the host asked her when shes going to become a politician

I know these Parivaar awards are totally lame etc but still why do the actors cont to go out of the way to defend problematic and toxic characs like Vanraj . How on earth is he best "Pita" ...She should have simply said both or no comments if we wanted to be dimplomatic

P.S. The Maan dance , though v long was quite cute and done well I felt (if we forget them from the current storyline ) ...Sad the way DKP has butchered them n made a complete mess

I don't know what that was.. To me praising Vanraj felt like setting the ground before committing paap of praising Anuj... I think the character has given her so much that she feels compelled to be in the character all the time... She never comes out of its shadow....

I agree there was no need for elaborate justification of Vanraj... Seedha bol deti .. Mera show hai kisi ko bhi milega toh I will be happy....

I liked the dance too... Honestly, that was the only thing I was interested in..... Maybe because they didn't open their mouths while giving the performance, they looked even better..... To like them it's imperative that they keep their mouths shut...
