Caviar hota toh mana nahi karti (just kidding, m still not over her caviar comment).

Jokes aside, I have also heard somewhere that you are not even supposed to give water to the child for the first few months. So for once she could be right about not allowing it.

And anyways, uska bacha hai, she has the full right to decide what or what not to give him. But m sure apple puree is definitely NOT it. Isn't there an age after which doctors allow the child to have fruits and all? Moms/dads on the forum would be aware.

Giving honey is religious?

I know about a mix of ghee, jaggery and water..and that also just a tiny bit..maybe a drop given to a newborn

Ya..only breast milk is recommended till 6 months..if that's not possible then formula milk.

And if someone wants to start early then only dilute moong water or very dilute orange juice after 4-5 months

And before giving apple puree u have to start with dilute apple juice😄 else they would need colic aid

Do's and don'ts par kuch bolne jaisa nahi hai..jisko Jo karna hai wo kare.

Who knows in future modern western medical science may discover some benefits of giving honey to newborns and want to patent the practice😂 like they tried with turmeric.

Benefits of honey for adults r already known. But somethings r discovered late.

Like after mocking goumutra for ages now they found its benefit for cancer cure and want to patent it.

Didn’t even know there was an ongoing’new’Sonam debate.😆 And also not aware of such a tradition. But yeah honey is strictly prohibited for infants under 1 year.
