Jo bacteria food poisoning cause karta hai uske spores bhi hote Hain Jo unfavorable condition me dormant state mein chale jate hain, fir unko sterilize karne ke liye pahle favourable conditions Dena padta hai taki wo wapas vegetative state mein aye

Honey ko heat nahi kiya ja sakta sterilization ke liye to ye process possible nahi hota, hamesha risk to hota hi hai ki bacterial spores rah gaya hoga

Kids ko nahi dena chahiye honey, not worth the risk aur ye religious practice nahi hai, log bas religion ke naam pe common sense bhul jate hain

I agree that honey should not be given to infants. But it's an age old tradition (not religious) in my state to put a drop of honey mixed with gold on the newborn infant's tongue.

Don't know about other cultures.. but In Punjabi culture there is a "Gudti" tradition where in New born is given a drop of honey at birth by one of the elder members of the family. Its also believed that baby get personality traits of that member..

Sonam ki koi video aayi hai wherein she said she fought with the panditji for following this rasam and instead was comfortable with Apple puree

Docs on Twitter are saying both are not needed na honey na apple puree..

Traditionalists are saying a drop honey will not harm the baby as it's been going for generations.

Some our calling out Sonam for trying to be woke and unnecessary involving panditji in story when it's likely a tradition in his husband family and not any rasam some "pandit" is imposing.

Oh okay... I didn't knew about any such tradition. I know only about annaprashan which happens after 6 months.

Anyways, what sonam decides for her child is completely her decision and she would provide the best of her ability and knowledge for her kid but what was the need to "cheekh cheekh ke sabko bta do"

I remember this honey feeding tradition was shown in a show and people were criticising it for promoting it. before they I had no idea about this tradition

Well ik till 6months nothing should be allowed other than breast milk but yup she could avoid telling publicly kya jaruraat hain
