Aishwarya in Jawan

Can someone explain to me why no one thought to hire the real Aishwarya Rai to play a role of Aishwarya? That is obviously perfect casting yet she is not considered despite being a blockbuster actress? Have patriarchal Bachchans forbid Aish from taking roles that will further make their son an unemployed loser?

They didn't hire the real Aishwarya Rai because the world might not be ready for that level of fabulousness!

Was she considered for it ?

I am very confused about why there has not been an onscreen reunion between SRK and Aish when they were considered the only good thing about Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. This was a missed opportunity here.

Aishwarya and SRK could have done many films together over the years...and SRK would not have faced his lean period.Public likes to see their kings with their queens..Check all the BO records, except when cast opposite 'virginal' debutantes, their films underperform. Aish was/felt betrayed by SRK,he got her thrown out of at least 2 films..Chalte Chalte and Veer Zara..or did nothing to fight for her...

Aish was never going to sign.Had she..public would have gone crazy.

Aishwarya was approached for the role but she said no to it then Vidya was approached for it and she said no too

Pooja Dadlani approached Deepika last year when they were shooting Besharam Rang

Aishwarya worked with him in ADHM and she signed Happy New Year too but backed out because Abhishek was taken for a supporting role and she didn't want to do a movie where Abhishek is there and she is paired opposite SRK

I love Aishwarya Rai, I really do, but please behold my eyeballs as it says hello to the back of my brain.

It’s not only Ash. I always wonder why SRK or Salman are not working with Rani, Preity etc.

The men of the 90’s are still headlining movies and the actresses of their time are barely getting offers
