We're thrilled to announce a new feature that brings India Forums closer to the global standards of social media platforms. From today onwards, members will have the option to set a Display Name.
What is a Display Name?
A Display Name is different from your username. It's a name that appears on your profile, comments, and posts, allowing you to showcase your identity in a more personalized manner. Think of it as the name that you'd use on other social media platforms!
Key Highlights:
- Flexibility: Unlike the username, which can only be changed once in 6 months, you can update your Display Name more frequently to suit your preferences.
- Personal Touch: Use your real name, a nickname, or any name that you identify with. The choice is yours!
- Privacy: Your username remains the primary identifier for login and other technical aspects. The Display Name is just for representation on the platform.
How to Set Your Display Name?
Navigate to your profile settings, and you'll find the option to set or update your Display Name.
