Lol I think this is a subtle dig?? Towards PC. Also there’s nothing “brave”, about what PC is doing & I say that as an ardent admirer of her’s, lmaoo. She wanted a career in HW & worked her bum off & she’s star there now. On the rise etc but a star. PC levels ambitions not even superstars have lol. Aloo doesn’t want to walk into auditions without anyone knowing who she is, she isn’t good-looking as such & speaks horribly so it probably won’t work for her. Best stick to BW.

A combination of a dig at PC, sour grapes, and also perhaps a realization that she won’t make it in Hollywood. The fact that her so called Hollywood debut is a Netflix movie and not a theatrical release like DP’s or PC (although she had a network show first) is not lost on her. She doesn’t have the looks, doesn’t have the sex appeal, and doesn’t even pass as exotic and foreign to Americans. I think she’s realizing that she won’t have it easy outside of Bollywood and KJo’s influence.

P.S. PC isn’t really a star. She’s more of an influencer now. But she has ambition, confidence, and speaks eloquently and with a degree of gravitas.

Better sense has prevailed, as far as Alia is concerned..idk why but I actually think she might get good reviews for Heart of Stone....PC has lost her acting skills in her bid for her constantly evolving fake Beverly Hills accent..and has become irrelevant in BW too..at the end of it all..PC has become practically unbearable.

This is just a fancy way of saying she didn't like the experience of working in a place where her influential mentor couldn't arm twist everything to suit her needs & get everything for her on a platter like he usually does. She had to work like everybody else does and she doesn't want to repeat the experience 😆 Also probably has realised nobody there would give two hoots about it if she calls & says she would be really upset if she doesn't get casted in the next film.😆 That's a bummer
