1. if SRK wanted to distort calculations, he could've done it over the last 10 years where he was giving dud after dud

2. SRK was not the producer of Pathan. Yashraj was. They didn't bother putting out fake numbers for Shamshera or Jayeshbai.

3. International players HAVE to report correct numbers. If they announce huge profits when they actually take losses, IRS (or any other tax agency) will go after them.😆 How silly to assume they would put themselves in serious legal trouble just to prop up SRK. Whoever is making such assumptions is a bigger SRK fan than me for sure. I certainly don't think global corps will pull such tricks for any actor.

I didn't like Pathan. But it worked. 1. SRK has goodwill, and peeps were tired of seeing him and his family get attacked for no reason, so they came out in support 2. The silly controversy about the orange bikini which generated buzz when there wasn't any.
