I agree with each and every point. Even in our lives it's important to know the balance. I am someone who thinks commitment is first and that is not romance. I Had a really bad relationship too and I had let it go much like sajal.

I know many things now except the concept of romance. It never came to me.

I pray you get all the romance you need in your life… vaise ek kahu, if it isn’t coming, make your own or demand it.
My sister when she first met her husband and they went out a couple of times, she told him “mujhe romance bahut pasand hai, lekin pata nahi kaise karte hai” he told her “mujhe bhi nahi pata” she said “yeh bada masla ho gaya. Aapko pasand bhi hai ya not interested” He shrugs and says “pata nahi”

She comes home and calls me and says “Banda bada stupid sa hai” He literally texts her the next day and says “Voh jo aap keh rahe the ..maine Google kar liya”… my sis was like😆. Even today after having a kid, he brings her flowers after work. It was obvious that he was willing to make that effort for her. My sister always said his “maine Google kar diya” text itself was romantic enough for me.

From an objective viewpoint, her demanding could be a red flag for a guy and he ignoring what she said could have been a red flag for her. But she demanding and he doing something was a win win for romance and balance!
