I know about that. Especially Catholic Xtians seem to be almost fanatical in opposing abortions.

I believe we have given excessive leeway to religions and religious lobbies for centuries now. That needs to be challenged and that needs to GO.

Period.

No religious lobby, society or so called beliefs can dictate what an individual chooses to do with own life and body.

A bunch of cells is not a baby. Nor more important than a live human being nor is a woman mere baby making machine or a man always a father. What if man or woman do not want the baby? And who will take responsibility of unwanted baby? Why should woman carry pregnancy full term or bear all physical and financial cost for an unwanted pregnancy?

No method of birth control is 100% effective. Abortion is a non negotiable right. Period. Only woman gets to decide what she wants to do with own body.

No outsider or so called religious lobby or politician or law or film will dictate.

I wish films and serials normalised abortion and did not judge ones who want no kids.

100% agree. Main toh kabse observe Kia hai he's regressive under the garb of pretty films.

Villainizing abortion, adoption and divorces is just wrong.

I did not even consider Good Newzz as a serious movie as the concept was illogical. Akshay's character was shown too nasty and ready to blame KAreen for everything.

I agree that Jug Jug Jeeyo was regressive and I hated Anil Kapoor's character for expecting his wife to forgive him just to continue his cheating habits.

Abortion has always been considered a sin and no matter if it's a mistake or ONS or anything, the woman is always discourage for even considering abortion. It's considered a murder.
