Like someone said Haya might have misunderstood the situation and Meerab was so sad and was not in a position to correct Haya. And like someone said Meerab is of the impression that Murtasim cheated on her. So when Haya was saying to punish Murtasim may be she was thinking that she will go away and not see his face because of the consummation happened due to overwhelming emotions and also she is thinking that Murtasim cheated on her.

Yeah this seems plausible. "Kya hoti hai bewafai tujhe kar ke dikha doonga". This goes with the OST also.

but then why would he go search for her? Unless he is searching for her after finding out about Meesam. (so post TL).
