Yes SRK is a sycophant type guy compared to Aamir and Salman.

Ever seen him speak against establishment or status quo or biggies like Yash Chopra or some big editor?

Or a politician?

Facts hurt fans.

SRK never even had guts to sue media that slandered his son and wife during drug case.

He hardly spoke against K Jo when he had differences with him around mid 2010s.

He can at the most take on small fish such as fighting with some waiter at Ghai's party or a guard at Wankhede or slapping flopiya like Shirish at a party. Or maybe take a few digs at Aamir or Salman or some other star.

He has never had balls to take on politicians or underworld or big producers or makers in public unlike Aamir who had guts to call Modi a mass murderer and hold him responsible for 2002 riots and criticise 1993 riots after Babri demolition or ban media, awards, and openly call Yash Chopra a liar and tell how he and Sunny were being narrated different stuff and he was denied joint narration with Sunny.

Though Aamir's guts seem foolish in long run and SRK's diplomacy paid off better for him.

Depending on who you ask didn’t he say the country is intolerant. Tho even that was something that was taken out of context depending on you ask lol

Do not tell me SRK is respectful. 🤣

He has plenty of instances of insulting co stars in name of humour.

It is being smart and diplomatic to not mess with powers that be.

SRK is smart enough to never fight with politicians or big editors or producers.

He keeps fights limited to rivals of same age or some small fish like a waiter or security guard or whatever. Something that does not dent his career much.

There is a reason why he has never been removed from brands unlike others who have been kicked out of brands before contracts expired, because they landed into trouble for taking on biggies or questioning status quo.

Even films of SRK are conformist and never question existing values or shake status quo. He plays pliable characters and hardly iconoclast or rebels except few films. His appeal lies in traditional values and family films.

IDK why this thread is becoming about SRK when he is not even that bad that his success is sheer luck?

Though I know once, several years ago, someone or some magazine had called him and his success biggest fluke in industry. But I am sure there are others who are far worse and do not even have any redeeming quality or talent or good content film but still succeeded.

Why can't we talk about others instead of these SRK fans getting defensive if someone ELSE (NOT me) called him lucky?

I am also amused his fans are offended if someone calls him less confrontational and fighting/rebellious type compared to his rivals of same generation. Like you are even offended at his good behaviour?

An outsider with no connections has to keep diplomatic stance and cannot mess with bigwigs early in career the way Aamir did very early with Chopras and media, award juries, politicians etc. Also, SRK is more educated than his contemporaries, hence less impulsive in public and less openly confrontational. He knows he needs media by his side as a public figure and cannot go around messing with big names in industry or media or politics lest it comes to haunt him. This is his plus point. Not something to hold against him. IDK why his fans are offended.

SRK is lucky his rivals are emotionally unstable, criminals or poorly educated and he naturally emerged as better bet for producers and brands in his time.

get over the facts

:)

Hehe. But then even Aamir got lucky that he got second innings better as he got films rejected by SRK such as Lagaan, 3 Idiots, RDB.

And Sanjay is lucky he got new lease of life after SRK rejected Munnabhai.

But yeah, SRK did get a head start in career due to others rejecting films, fighting with media, big producers, co stars and their stupid choices and bad behaviour benefitted SRK who emerged as better bet. An outsider desperate for work and more obedient and less nakhrewala compared to industry kids like Amir and Salman who partly got more attitude due to first films becoming huge hits as solo main leads and let success go to their heads.

But rejects alone do not make career.

Luck is likes of Katrina who have NO talent at all and NEVER improved all life and still got work and became huge stars. Katrina never even gave good content or classic type films. Forget good performance.

SRK is atleast not that talentless that he does not even know any Indian language and still became star here. Your post totally derailed thread. Aag lagana koi tumse seekhe. I bet you will be banned again at this rate. 🤣

He made a very general statement on intolerance.

Unlike Aamir and Naseeruddin Shah.

Hardly as blunt as them.

The most blunt he probably spoke was about misuse of Islam and Islamophobia, radicalisation during MNIK phase.

He got backlash for it.

He is targeted more as he is most popular.

Bashing him gets more limelight for various senas compared to less popular guy like Naseer.

He is never as frank in tone and choice of words in such matters as say Aamir or Naseer are.

He will not be so either after what happened to his son.

SRK did good in roles Chopras gave him.

He was obedient too and never gave them attitude like other stars like Sunny or Aamir.

Who is saying he had no talent or was male Katrina?

Chopras never patronized anyone else like they did to SRK who they gave tailor made roles and hyped a lot.

Akshay was also outsider, Yeh Dillagi was hit. But Chopras hardly gave him good roles except for paltry supporting role in DTPH or craps like Tashan later.

The only good script Chopras offered Akki later was CDI which he rejected.

Chopras have never hyped any star as much as they did to SRK. They never even hyped Amitabh this much despite him giving them hits like Deewar, Kabhi Kabhi, Trishul.

Pliability and asskissing go a long way and SRK is a people pleaser hence everyone calls him charming and how he makes people feel special.

atominis, I don't know why you - more & more - make threads which have a negative tone and invite for bashing... and why you repeat again & again the same - negativly connoting - traits you think some have...

"Luck is likes of Katrina who have NO talent at all and NEVER improved all life ..."

"Pliability and asskissing go a long way ..." (in connection to SRK)

This is quite insulting (and has nothing to do with a 'healthy' discussion)..., imo.
