In 2023, Tara meets a successful Neurosurgeon, Dr. Dhruv Saxena who assumes her to be mentally ill and admits her into a mental hospital. Tara gets discharged as she was completely insane. Tara again comes across Dhruv who treat her when she injured herself while running away from him. Tara helps Dhruv's grandparents and they let her stay in Dhruv's house without informing anyone. Tara gets fascinated by the modern day technology and equipments. Tara gets caught and Dhruv suggests keeping her as a maid when his mother throws Tara out of the house, to which everyone in his family agreed. Tara won everyone's heart with her cooking skills except for Dhruv's mother Shusheela, his aunt Lalita and his sister-in-law Ayesha. Ayesha had a crush on Dhruv but he rejected her and she married Dhruv's cousin Jay. Dhruv's father eloped with a lady on Holi and for that reason Dhruv's mother hates all girls who enters the house without her permission. Since Tara entered the house without her permission, Susheela worries she might take Dhruv away from her. Susheela's fears are increased when Dhruv gives Tara, a special attention.
Tara intoxicates Dhruv and tries to takes him with her to the 17th century but Tara could not find the Navrangvan as her mother never told her about the Navrangvan in the 21st century. Dhruv comes to his senses and questions Tara. Tara requests Dhruv to find Navrangvan for her so she can go back home. Dhruv managed to find Navrangvan and takes Tara there. In the 17th century, Senapati Samrat is announced as the heir to the throne. Mahaveer visits Saraswati to seek Tara's whereabouts and gets shocked to know that Tara time travelled for him. In 2023, Tara reaches Navrangvan which turned out to be a replica of the original Navrangvan. Susheela fixes Dhruv's marriage to a girl named Preeti, who is already married and pregnant because she feared that Dhruv loves Tara. Preeti's brother Tarun is dominating that's why Preeti couldn't reveal her pregnancy to him. Tara beats a man who kidnapped a girl and is arrested due to a misunderstanding.
Tara flees from the police and reached a marriage hall and dress up as a bride to hide herself. Dhruv also dress up as a groom and helped Tara. Susheela sees Dhruv and Tara dress up as groom and bride, assume them to be married. On Preeti's request Dhruv and Tara continued to pretend as husband and wife. Tara does after marriage ritual which anger Susheela even more. Tarun shows a video of Tara beating the goon and Susheela tries to hand Tara over to police. Tarun makes a video showing that Shusheela pushes Tara in front of a car (which actually was an accident).Dhruv saves Tara from the car and reveals the truth to Shusheela that why Tara had beated the goon, which made Sushila regret her decision.Tarun frames Susheela after Dhruv and Tara warned him about his doing. However, Tara saves her but Tara got arrested. After this, Shusheela accepts Tara as her daughter-in-law and Dhruv's wife. Dhruv bails Tara with the help of the girl who was helped by Tara from the goon and the police arrests the real culprit(the goon). After that, Dhruv realises that he is in love with Tara. Later, they both got to know the way to find the real Navrangvan. But Tarun interrupts Dhruv and Tara by taking away the book containing information about the Navrangvan.Later, Susheela and Lalita get know about the fake marriage of Dhruv and Tara. Susheela asks Dhruv who swears and says he's in love with Tara.
Meanwhile Tarun finds out the site of Vallabhgarh and they are excavating it. Dhrv Tara reach there in disguise, Tara happily tells about things belonging to her father n brother. They find a painting of her and Senapati, they seem married. Dhruv realises she's telling the truth. Dharmendra, the soldier wakes up from coma and talks to Tara about the situation in Vallabhgarh. Dhruv apologizes to Tara about his family's behaviour and promises he will help her cure bhaiji.
