DC camp is more relieved than happy. They were sweating profusely I can tell you that. How did this happen? They were cantering along at one point. From being 61 for 1 in 6 overs to a final over heist. KKR turned it around. Rana and Chakaravarthy bowled exceedingly well. The Impact Player Roy also did well. But Narine had a poor day and that went against KKR. Because even 127 looked enough at one time. DC had a great outing with the ball. But barring Warner's batting, there was barely anything to write home about their batting display. 16 overs of spin from KKR just made it very tough for DC who failed to get their timing against the tweakers. DC have opened their account. But KKR have lost two on the bounce. They had a narrow loss to MI and even today they would feel they could have won with a little bit of a better batting effort on a wicket which was very sluggish. DC might have won but they have a lot of work to do. Marsh at the top has to reduce the workload from Warner. The others also in the middle-order need to contribute as not every day their bowlers will save the day for them like they did today.

Nitish Rana: I think we were 15-20 runs short on such a difficult pitch. I take the responsibility for this, I should have stood there instead of throwing my wicket away. Credit to the bowlers though, I think the upcoming games will be good for us if we continue bowling and fighting like this. We were just trying to delay the outcome, but they (DC) played really well in the powerplay, that's where they won the game. We need to play well as a team. We need to bowl like the way we did today, if we manage to sort these things out, we can fight better I guess.

I checked, everytime I picked KKR to win, they lose.😳
