All of those I've watched and liked are already mentioned here (Tabu, Madhuri, Rekha, Meena, Kareena, Anushka Shetty, Sharmila, Shabana and Smita)...I want to add Rani as Gulabi in Saawariya, Preity in CCCC, Waheeda Rehman as Gulabo in Pyaasa and Kalki Koechlin in Dev D

I've not yet seen Alia's Gangubai and Vidya's Begum Jaan.

Lakshmi (with Monali Thakur and Shefali Shah) also is a gripping film on prostitution (imo).

I never got a chance to watch Rekha in Umrao Jaan and Mukkadar ka Sikandar but one day will definitely watch these movies.

Also, I just love those old mujra songs as they are highlights of the movies of 60s and 70s. Inhi logon ne, Nazar lagi raja tohre bangle par, Saakiya aaj mujhe neend nahi and Salame ishq meri jaan are my most favorite ones.
