Yes this show is deeply patriarchal, misogynistic as they treat women as second class citizen. Best example -today only issue Sai had with virat is that he chose pakhi over her pre leap.thats it.apart from that all other things brushed under carpet.

Infact many of the books are there which really exhibits what the above factors are.This show only hold the nerves of female audience with negativity and want them to only feel from woman's end that's why I think you don't find Virat what I have illustrated in the show anywhere because you have never been shown the proper rate of character graph towards his side and as you said that in today's ep Sai forgive Virat for siding PL and you added with it that every other point was being brushed out, my first disappointment from today's ep was why Virat was okay while Sai said this he didn't side PL infact his family's reputation and his anger towards Sai because of the condition she put against a father, that guy doesn't have self respect at all that was my view he has till second marriage but not after that and for me Virat didn't even acted a unit amount after leap what any other man in his place would have it sounds harsh but it's truth and it should be.....

My college friends and even professors and other guys who are associated with my life suggest me to not watch these saas bahu dramas they term it as pseudo feminist where ML's are required to be the one out of this world and if he acts like human he will be given gaaliyan this is how these shows run for gaining trp from audience.....but I see it neutrally considering Sai's end also and Virat's mistakes also

Trends se show chalte to sairat butcher nhi hote. Just go through BCCC response. It says the same.
