I can propose a good solution that is legitimate and doesn't demean either of them. Let Anuj run away to a remote place and Maa plan to go after him. When Shahs try to stop her, please please PLEASE let us see her do her version of Anuj's reaction where she blames the Shahs and herself for not giving time to Anuj, a bhaashan that we will actually like.

Then she can go to the place where Anuj disappeared and look for him, this can be a proper track like the resort track and will give them their own sweet time to reconnect.

We can also throw in some fun by taking a Sreemoyee track where Rohit had run away from home to get treatment secretly so that Sreemoyee is not bothered by his terminal illness but some people kidnap him and Sreemoyee becomes a Ninja to rescue him with Mithu di. Devika and Dheeraj can be Anupamaa's partners.

She need not sacrifice herself for CA, she can sacrifice herself for Anuj and get back into his good books.

I tried to feel sorry for her but couldn’t

She has yet to acknowledge or recognize Anujs pain, his depression. She refuses to accept any wrong doings

It’s become all about her pain now

I got an epiphany instead..

Anupama's previous marriage lasted for 20+ years despite all sort of physical, mental, emotional and every sort of abuse because that marriage bore three children..

This one couldn't even last its honeymoon period because a child went away..

So basically the foundation for lasting/sustaining a marriage is children/child. Other things don't/ shouldn't/ won't matter..

This serial has given me a serious aversion to marriage...

P.S : My sympathies and empathies are with Anuj. I just couldn't stand the pathetic way in which this track was handled, neither the makers' attempt to portray MAA as an eternal martyr whereas Anuj has been the real victim ever since wo Anupama naam ki MAA ko shaadi kar ke ghar laya hai..

Anuj was right at that time that a a child should not be this much understanding...

Anupma made everything about her and made herself a victim which she is not....Anuj has been complaining about her negligence from few months now....this outburst is not sudden but anupama could never understand him....

So this is what makes me think the writers are deliberately showing Anu's faults. I wonder if they have the courage to show her learning a proper lesson this time and maybe trying to win Anuj over for a change.

If she's doing it in front of the Shahs then it's ok, otherwise I want to see Barkha's facial expressions if she does this at KM.

I feel more bad because it was her second time n she messed it and also her partner is being unreasonable.

If it was a big issue then I would have understand but a foster child choosing her biological mother is the most done thing.

I didn't cry for her but I really felt bad for her not because MaAn are seperating its because the Lady had seen a lot in her first married life and after going through worse stepping into a second marriage and going through another seperation is too much for any man/woman to go through.

Anupamaa always had misplaced priorities ...always running to that abusive Ex ka house for trivial matters and Anuj Kapadia was always like Meri Anu sahi hai and used to ask his wife to tag along their 7 yr old kid to that zoo.

I am so annoyed with this couple. But I feel sad for this seperation of her with Anuj. Anupamaa has misplaced priorities and Anuj wants separation for a not a very good reason.However this annoyance couple both have their own flaws and toxic. Let them be apart and seperate their ways and I think its good for both of them.

I think Vanraj was her crush; she felt that the crush itself was love, and she was with that abusive man for 26 long years where she was never respected.

She got a second chance, and probably this is the relationship that taught her the true meaning of love. I am not married, but I had a breakup with my boyfriend a long time ago, and it took a lot of toll on my mental health. Till today I cant come to accept any man just like that in my life and I am way too skeptical about chosing a life partner post my breakup. However, that relationship did teach me some lessons. And here we are speaking about marriage, and that is where Anupamaa was loved, cared for, and respected; moreover, she was emotionally invested in Anuj. However, she had misplaced priorities, and somewhere this is the reason for another separation in her life.

So going through separation when you are emotionally invested really disturbs your mental health. She was emotionally invested and truly loved Anuj so I am just feeling a tad sad for her.

I had tears in my eyes after watching the precap. I don't blame Anuj for what he said or did. I completely understand his reactions as I too went through depression several times, but still, I felt sad seeing MAA begging him to reconsider the divorce. No marriage should ever come to this point, especially if this is a second marriage. I don't know how makers will make this right. I don't want Anuj to go on a guilt trip after seeing MAA risking her life to save CA. I don't want them to reconcile after CA comes back into their life. It would imply that Anuj only wants MAA as CA's mother. They should only reconcile only if they genuinely love each other, and not because of any kid. A marriage that needs a kid to survive should not survive at all.

P.S.: I know she reaped what she sowed, and I should not feel sorry for her, but I can't help it.

I felt bad too. Bad that its the end of Maan. The hope, that glimmer of sunshine they gave people…that second chances are real, was destroyed. They way they have made these two behave, especially Anuj recently, is forced and distasteful. A desperate attempt to raise TRPs.

A beautiful story destroyed by makers who just wanted to make money.
Message being sent- never marry someone with kids. Never adopt a kid. Never believe someone when they say they will always love you. And all men are the same.
