@red- Sorry to say this, d media can be brutal sometimes by misinterpreting or taking a statement out of context, just to create a controversy. So I would prefer if Wahaj doesnt go for those kind of interviews. I have watched media asking some unwanted questions from South stars n trying to get some TRP for their channels, however those actors had handled it well.

Controlled interview would help. It should be with someone like Baradwaj Rangan doing an interview with Wahaj. He mostly does his homework and asks good qns, rather than d cheesy stuff that other interviewers ask.

RRR's marketing strategy has helped them at Oscar's, but still ppl have trolled them for doing these promotions n running behind westerners for recognition.

I dont mean to hurt anyone or any country's media channel. I'm not from India or Pakistan, so I'm not fully aware of d things that goes on, only know d superficial stuff 😅

People are hypocrites yaar i tell you, they want that oscar but they will act like it is beneath them. Karan Johar after Lagaan became a big hit said directors lost their minds and wanted to make Lagaan like movies to win that oscar, but that is when things blew up in their faces because authenticity died.

RRR should be proud of making a truly over the top south film, it doesn't cater to any western sentiments it is just masala thriller with absolutely ridiculous stunts that has only one aim ENTERTAINMENT. So if it wins it is a win for originality and creativity and we should celebrate it. Because being original is not what Indian cinema is known for sadly.

And the grumblings are coming from the sour bollywood bunch, who look down upon south indian films who have stolen their thunder in the last decade.
