He has talent. Highway and Tamasha are underrated. Only I thought Randeep Hooda was the star of Highway not Aloo. So many directors made comebacks after flop phases. SLB being one.

He has talent. It is not like Diljit is not working with the directors that are doing well now. As I said Detective Shergill is with Ali Abbas Zafar who made mega-blockbusters like Sultan and Tiger Zinda hai. Also, he is doing a far more serious biopic with the makers of Udta Punjab. "The Crew" the actresses are bigger than the filmmakers.

I think it is releasing theatrically. It will work very well with the Punjabi audience. Yes, Diljit will have to expand his fanbase even more if he wants to be successful in Bollywood.

I watched his movie when he has a kid with Shehnaz and though I hated the female leads, they are too annoying, he and the kid were really sweet😍

Loved him in Jogi and he is the only one I didn't want to kill in Good Newwzz (Kareena became tolerable later, earlier her want for a kid was frying my nerves)

Give Soorma or Udta Punjab a try. I have a feeling you will like them.
