Anuj has been patient for years now and anupama has constantly ignored his needs, even when he was paralyzed and his adopted 7 year old. Again and again and again. For many trival reasons. Like making khichdi for Baa ignorning her 7 year daughters important school function or dancing and celebrating with her exes when her husband was paralyzed

You are talking as if its an isolated incident but even the most patient of saints will have breaking point. And like the boy who cried wolf, no one will have any sympathy for someone who ran for trival issues even if she had genuine issues now

Anuj is behaving exactly like the audience here. In isolation people will sympathize when a mom needs to run to her ill son, but this is not in isolation. Audience has lost all sympathy for this doormat. Its too late to play the sympathy card now. Once trust is lost, it can never come back

Again someone who only watched some clips cannot understand the context. Its like seeing the hero finally beat the villain in the climax and thinking they are cruel because you missed the entire movie of how the villain killed heroes dad and stole his business

Absolutely I Dont deny she is frustrating and her behavior when he was paralyzed was just horrendous , at the end of the day anuj married a woman tho who has faced years of systematic abuse and actually the reality is they got into a relationship too soon.

He was certainly not wrong in the start/past but now what he is doing is equally wrong and toxic. If he was flipping out his foster daughter might be taken awaay (correct that nervous breakdown almost) and his wife consoled him, then he can extend the same courtesy, wolf or not when her son is literally paralyzed.

Sadly the writers won’t focus on what they should , getting them divorced. He wants someone who will solely focus on him and his kid which she cannot as she has kids already. She needs to get over her abusers and learn to say no.

the pic is clear Anupama is too weak willed but in this case she ain’t wrong to go be with her son, my argument is if she genuinely told Anuj she wanted to be with her son for longer he would have an issue and that is not healthy IMO.

Spouse who he cheated on lmfao. Both Anupama and Vanraj are his parents. It’s another thing V was the one playing his advocate so in that regard he and his mother should be the one looking after. In the grand scwheme of things who gives a shit about a picnic rn esp as it’s been only days forget weeks or months since the man is paralyzed 😆

Children comes first but only if they r children.

Anupama 's kids r grown up but r problematic. Once kids grown up parents too let them be. Even anupama is not able to handle them. They keep on traumatizing anupama in various occasions. Here anuj is her saving grace n only one who stands by her.

Anu is an adopted kids but she too deserve equal attention as anupama has committed herself to be her mother. Because a mother chooses a child not other way round.

Though in toshu's case he should be anupama's first priority till he is sick but easiest way was to take toshu to her home rather than coming to shah house.

Other shah members can come for visiting from time to time.

When u have money u can hire all types of comfort n help n life becomes easy but here its a daily soap that's why everything gets loaded on anupama.

Anuj never expected and said before too and during their recent angst that she should never ask for permission but draw boundaries / prioritize..in fact she is guilt tripping him by asking “main jahoo “ in last episode. Also looking at him while saying no to Baa.

This is clearly a manipulation.

Only in India or Asian countries, women gives importance to their children all their lives. But never forget, because of husband, you can become mother (we are talking about India). So husband is more important than children. Once kids grow up and move out, you have to stay with your husband only. He is called life partner or soul mate for no reason.

Also in this case I think CHEATING on a spouse has lost its gravity.....since Kavya has been put on a pedestal.....just because she is licking Devi ji's feet now......other wise......how did people forget that Kavya pretended to be Anupamaa's friend for years....kept going to her house .....despite knowing she is VanRaj's wife......but while Vanraj is still looked down upon by Anupama(rightly so).....Kavya has become a best friend.....so anything this serial touches....whether its cheating, rape, fostering a child.....everything turns to a joke and everyone is reduced to being a bhakt of Anupama...🤔

I'm not a mother. So I'm not sure if I can give a general or subjective answer.

But talking about Anupamaa, this woman loves nobody but herself. She just wants to be relevant in everyone's life and this is how she chooses which side she's on.

Anuj said in the episode .... Maaya will go to picnic wit CA .Anupama should go to doctor with her real child who is a sick 30 yrs old. Let’s see what Anupama does . Baa, Vanraj, Anuj will ask Anipama to go with Tos and this is heading for MaAn separation as Maaya exploits the situation to the hilt
