I loved matsh. The only ITV show I ever invested myself in. And although I'm not following BALH2, my friends did tell me about it. The trailer, the actors, and something about it felt a little like Meri Aashiqui.

We'd been waiting for Ekta to maybe come up with matsh 2, but her being her, she never will. Ekta is said to use her own ideas in her shows and I don't think she ever dared about matsh at all. Now she's using the same concept for one of her dear shows. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Ekta doesn’t have good writers left for tv, first she made kasauti again, and now here you guys are mentioning about a show with similar story.

YES even I feel balh2 is giving a lot of meri aashiqui vibes. I don't follow balh but saw some clips and the promo.. They've even used one of the most iconic dialogues of meri aashiqui in balh2 promos that "ek akele ka pyar kafi hota hai do logo ke liye".. So yeah definitely ekta has copied her own show concept! It's sad because matsh had a very beautiful concept and it shouldn't have been reused this way.
