Just tell me where is the empowerment of women that this show has heavily blown the trumpet of. All i have seen is

  1. Women getting brutally abused daily by family members and then is serving them happily in the name of keeping relations alive no matter what. So at the end of the day , women have to do the heavy task is what they taught . She has to keep the family intact , not man.
  2. Glorified motherhood so much that if you don't qualify as per their standards of being a mother , you are not good enough, putting women audience to guilt. It seems like the next gen viewers might become like Anupama nothing less than her ,otherwise they are bad mothers. You have to be like devi g in all aspects. Constantly putting up with insults and taunts of your adult kids and bearing painful abuse by inlaws.
  3. Cheater men are forgiven in the name of bachon ke pita promoting the message further that at the end women have to sacrifice their self respect in the name of keeping family alive.it doesn't matter if the man makes your life hell continuously.
  4. Vanraj's 9 year long betrayal , his mental abuse , was all a result of his anger issues .Anuj's 26 year long love in which he slept with innumerable women but now is judging Maya. Hasmukh being the silent spectator to abuse but never even once questioned. Paritosh sleeping with other women while wife was pregnant was another mental health issue. Samar misbehaving with nandini in the name of family when she said logic was normal to them .
  5. None of the women in this show has taken a strong action against her perpetrators whether it be Anupama , Kavya ,Kinjal , Barkha and even Rakhi. All are becharis and even glorified to be. All had to forgive and forget their husbands sin. Anupama did divorce but wasn't she riding bike with Vanraj 3 days prior to her divorce and even had sweet equation after it..
  6. Anupama career is like Mr. India. Haven't seen any ups , downs , nothing. Just an old college guy who crushed on her came and served the world to her. Lo ji Anupama ki journey complete. It means women cannot do anything alone but need a man that too rich and influential to progress in life. So why am I studying so much ??? I should wait if a powerful guy falls for me. After all that's women empowerment as per Anupama's standards.

Just tell me where is the so called WOMEN EMPOWERMENT ????

Do they even have an idea what goes through women in the real world ? What do they put up with ?

Bas bhashan do aur ho gayi women empowerment.

No point expecting anything good from this crapfest. Makers and channel only care about TRPs and are ready to sacrifice logic and sense at it's altar.

Their true intentions were exposed the day Shitnupa even after divorce moved back into Tamashah house to live in the storeroom as a glorified unpaid maid. Almost each track after that has just been to mock any serious issue which they'll recklessly continue to do so in the future as well

This show is a joke. It claims to challenge societal norms but in reality it will shame those who actually do anything challenging.

Remember when Kinju baby refused to make chapatis everyday because she was neck deep into office work? Not even one person said that it's okay we will not eat chapatis for a few days, rather MAA went into bechari mode and said she will single handedly do everything, which guiltripped Kinjal and she apologised.

Our society expects women to achieve great hieghts but only after she has finished feeding the family. A woman who is too tired to do anything after the kitchen is incompetent, a woman who only chooses career is evil and a woman who successfully does both is either MahaMAA or has died already.

See carefully, you will see women's empowerment.

1. Vanraj did not let MAA open a bank account, but Anuj transferred his entire property into MAA's name.

2. MAA was not allowed to leave Shah House when she was their Bahu, but after becoming the Bahu of KM, she is free to leave KM anytime. She is even allowed to leave her paralyzed husband.

3. MAA was not allowed to have any male friends when she was a Shah Bahu, but now she is allowed to be friends with her ex husband, dance and jhulafy with him.

4. Mrs. Vanraaj Shah was not allowed to visit her Mayka, but Mrs. Kapadia can stay at ex-sasural.

5. MAA was abused in her previous marriage, but now she is abusive.

From abused to an abuser, that's woman empowerment.

When the female lead asks a victim to Not tame a stand against insults

When the female lead protects a potential culprit on 2 crimes, one suspected attempt to murder and one fraud, manipulation

When the female lead conveniently sidelines and lectures the lecturer in class

What empowerment are we looking at?

That track pissed me off so much. I am a working woman too, and it just minimized our struggles. Toshu said to kinjal " Boss ki dant ka bura nahi manti, unke kaam sambhal leti ho, to ghar me kyu nahi"..... Abe boss se jubaan ladaungi to job chali jayegi meri. Office me ek hamare job chart fix hote hai. Yaha agar family members se bhi waisi hi treatment milne lage to mai to bhaag jau dusre din. Rakhi se kahke ek maid rakhwa dete to kya bigad jata.

Also, with dimples rape track, they should've had dimple organise the protest group and go up to the door and beat up the bullies. Why did anupama have to do it ??
