First, Maya doesn’t owe them any backstory. It would be nice if she would. I would love to hear it. Legally she doesn’t have to tell them her story. She should explain to her child in the privacy of her space without praying eyes and ears why she had to leave. If that is what she wants to do.
2nd, They are only fostering her, and legally can’t even adopts her yet for two years according to Indian laws. Which means the bio parent can come back within those two years and take his or her child back for any reason given or not given. She is back and wants her child.

Just because Anuj has question to ask his parents to why they recklessly left him in an orphanage that doesn’t dictate that Maya having to explain herself to them.
Third, even if it was a selfish reason at the time to leave her child in orphanage that doesn’t give two foster parents the legal right to keep a child away from her mother. Even the courts will not use this as an excuse to keep child away from bio parent.🤦🏻‍♀️

If that was the case no child would ever be reunited with their child.🤦🏻‍♀️

Anuj, I know loves this child but also needs to think in reality for what is best for this child.

He doesn’t need Ca to hate him one day for keeping him away from her mother. I have seen this happen one too many times. It breaks a family apart and years to fix.

This is drama and writers will not write close to the courts or law. Sadly.. at the end it will Anuj that will be given custody.

I feel its not normal fostering it could pre adoption fostering as anuj mentioned he can't wait to adopt her. Lets see how they reveal maya's backstory. I hope they don't dissappoint us by adding ekta tadka.

Staying in an orphanage is way better than being sent to discriminating relatives or left in the streets or some trash bin. Yes it is painful to grow up in an orphanage but imagine how painful it would be to give up your own flesh and blood just to ensure their survival and life is a bit less worse than what it could be if they were with the parents. Like prem had given the example of Messi who grew up away from his family but never hated them because he knew why they did that, Maaya is not even allowed to tell her story. He should be happy for CA that atleast her mother came back for her because there are kids who still wait for their parents at the orphanage. No matter what anyone says, if a mother is desperate for her child and wants to make amends then it is everyone's moral responsibility to re unite them. Anuj's behaviour towards Maaya was disgusting.

i do not know how foster care works as i have never been in a place which had these organizations as here its majorly big cities will have them. But will foster care and orphanage will be same ? And if yes in foster care is it not the responsiblity of a person who handles the kid to inform them about her parents. When anuj was explaining he always said its an orphanage and i did not understand why he did not adopted CA rather he became a foster parent. And i read some article which said a kid can not be adopted unless it's parents puts it for adoption may be that guy notified maya about CA for being adopted hence she realized she has to get back and take CA with her as i remember recently anuj mentioned he can not wait to adopt CA.

Which explains why Maya came after all these years.

I feel it's not about money. If it was really about money she could have just confessed it infront of maan in today's episode. There is some mystery around why she left CA and why she came back all of sudden and why she needs CA desperately because she just revealed it to her without even thinking. I have some hopes from writers they will answer all these questions but i also know my hopes will shatter in to small pieces

With these writers, I am not expecting much education on the matter at hand.

I am not even sure if actors in India research the character they are playing as they do here inthe USA.

It would be nice if they did.

I can only speak for USA! Here if a parent put the kids up for foster care with intention of coming back for the child. They can’t be put on list for adoption with out parents permission. The parent in most cases have supervised contact with the child as well.

In most cases for the safety of the child from neglect, the child is taken from the parent and put in foster care until some time period where the parent has gotten help. Even then the child can’t be put up for adoption without parents agreeing to it or the courts stripping the parents of their rights.
The goal of the courts is to reunite the children with their parent.
Also here both parents have to agree to sign over their right to have their child adopted.

Sadly, the father mostly finds out too late and spends time looking for their child.

I feel anuj may not be completely wrong as there are lots of scams going. I will not deny he should have agreed for dna testing but maya was not revealing why she left anu. As a foster dad who is about to adopt the kid has every right to know if his kid is in safe hand. She should have atleast confessed what made her to take such a drastic step. In india atleast leaving your child is a big matter. Even mother who do not even have single penny struggles and raises their child and will never leave them in foster care as in india parents and child relations are bit different. A mother can leave her child if she is scared or selfish or forced.

Considering that its hard to imagine why a women left her kid in an orphanage unless she had a valid reason to do so. Lets see how writers will take this story forward.

Even the courts want to reunite the child with the parent with their child if they can. They don’t even ask why. Just what is good for the child in long run. Will the child attend school regularly, will they have their own room if they can? The place is clean.

A caseworker is assigned to monitor for several years to keep the family on the right path. Anuj’s acting is too much for someone who is just fostering?

As I said, I have a formal collegueb who does this for her career now back in my home state. I need to ask her if she has seen any foster parents behave as Anuj is doing now.

I don’t think foster parents in the USA are allowed to question why a parent put a child in foster care or judge them for it.🤔 If reported they could lose their license to foster a child as well here, I think.

His behavior isn’t normal in this situation.

Even in this case, Maya would have to sign off on it still. She may have put her kid in foster care temp but not to have her adopted.
