Guys I can't decide who is right.... I agree with Maaya and Anuj

There was a case few years ago which ruled in the adoptive fathers favor. A baby named Akbar was lost and was found by a Hindu man who raised him, and raised him Muslim.... after some years when his biological family found... he refused to part with his adoptive father and court granted his custody to the adoptive father.

So if it's wasn't for Anupamaa's "phamily" obsession I think I would be in Anuj-Anu'd favor. See Maaya definitely has a past... and seems like she was an unwedded mother. I mean if she has their background information I am sure Anuj can get dirt on her as well.... even though he can't afford security.

Also Anuj wasn't wrong in saying that she gave her up cause of her "majboori" what if that "majboori' comes up again. I agreed with Anupamaa after a really long time... her saying that adoptive mother isn't on the same level as a biological mother wasn't wrong nor was she wrong when she said that CA would suffer the most. And I don't think it was wrong that she let Maaya see CA...

My unpopular opinion but I think Anu loves choti but would prioritize Baa.... I have a theory that she wants validation from people who doesn't conditionally love her.... cause during New Years Baa character assassinated Samar aka Anupamaa's bakuda and she didn't stand up for him.... infact most of the time she doesn't speak up for him either... she mostly stands up for Pakhi tho (just my observation)

I do feel for Maaya she does seem to love her child. But yeah she could have told CA some other way... but still can't deny (atleast so far) that she loves her.

Also I am tired of the Yashoda- Devki rant. They were both great mothers... please makers stop referencing them. I do agree with Anuj had often times we tend to overlook the fathers love and we tend to do that with Nand and Vasudev as well. But also they were just great people... Nand sacrificed his daughter as he knew Kanha was destined to kill Kansa... he gave Vasudev his daughter in order to save other children. Even Vasudev-Devki kept having children despite knowing Kansa would kill then as they know there 8th son would establish Dharma... and sacrificed the 7th other children so tyranny could end. Pandavas in the Kurukshetra war do the same thing. Bheem's son Ghatotkacha sacrificed himself to save Arjun while Abhimanyu did the same for Yudhisthira (chakravyuh was designed to capture him) but Abhimanyu knew that I'd that happened they would lose the war... and Yudhishthira took the decision to let Abhimanyu enter as Drona's chakravyah was harming his army... he decided as the king. Even his own son Prativindhya jumped in on the 12 day ( I think) to save him as Drona amd others cornered Yudhishthira... this was day Yudhishthira also used him Brahmastra to destroy Drona's which is why the chakravyuh was designed. Lol sorry for this but I am getting sick of the Devki- Yashoda's out of context reference

Maya is the real mom and she also loves her child. Whatever the reason she had to put her child in foster care. She is back and should get a chance to raise her child.

I do feel as long as Shah family is in the picture Anupama will never truly give choti the attention she needs and Anuj wants her to give. This maa only has time, love for her own children and family. That is the sad truth.
You are right Anuj can get info on her even if he has the worst security in the world.

Whatever the reason, Maya can better raise her daughter than Anupama. Unlike Anupama, Maya’s attention isn’t divided. Maya wants to raise her child.

My neighbours left their 2 cats with me for 4 years as they were going out on work to other country. First it was 1 year than now its 4 so does those cats become mine. Of course not its their cats. As soon as they return i will give them back no matter how much i love them. Its very similar to fostering a child. You get attached to that cat too like its your child. But i cannot say those cats are mine i am just taking care and brining them up in owner or parent absence. Fostering is similar process you can say, you do not have rights on child.

Even though i partially agree with you here the matter is bit complicated.

We are not sure when orphanage ppl got to know about maya. And maaya even though she knew anu was staying in kh she never bothered to get her daughter on the first day itself. She waited for 6 months.

The cat referrence that you gave the situation is bit different here.

its like my neighbour knows he cant take care of that cat and he put that cat for adoption and i got it home with a hope that i will raise it till it dies. I fed him i loved him and gave all my emotions to it. Even though neighbour knew this he did not even come and took it away on the first day. Rather he played with my emotion took his own sweet time to return and now he is asking the cat back and if he says putting the cat for adoption was his majboori what should i do. Its not my fault that you were careless or majboor.

The difference in that case was the adoptive father raised the child since he was an infant itself I suppose and was not forcefully keeping the child to himself but that is not the case here, where they had CA for barely a few months yet they are claiming that they have raised her and not allowing her to reunite with Maaya. It would have been a different story if CA herself rejected Maaya but here Anuj is not ready to let go off CA even when she herself wants to be with Maaya which is very wrong.

He is also not trying to understand her point of view or what her situation was at that time. Calling her a fraud and what not even when she is ready for a DNA test.

He is being plain selfish.

What if Maaya didn't know about the fostering arrangement and learnt about it a bit later?
