Maybe I missed the episode but when and why exactly did the Tamashahs start calling the kid as Pari when her name is supposedly Arya?

Is it simply a nickname? I thought an endearing term of reference which is completely different from the given name is not that common in Gujarat (unlike usual practice in Bengal for example). Or is it? I'd have expected them to refer to her as Aru or something similar instead of a totally different term.

Or do they intend to bring her up as a pari/papa ki pari, the same way as the OG papa ki princess?

it's a common practice in Gujarat. Everyone has a pet name and sometimes it is so much used that your. Neighbors or relatives dont really remember ur real name.

Common pet names be like sweety, pinky, bittu, chaku etc.
