Someone want to tell me what indowstern clothing is. I searched it up and it just shows me more heavy party wear related indian clothes so my question is why would someone wear such heavy clothing to work lol.

At the same time i felt bad for Viaan. It's becoz Adnan was so good in that scene. When Katha asked if she was not a mother, he literally started thinking arre mei bol kya raha hoon.😆 and that no no no.. literally pleading Katha to stop as if he can't hear anything more. Ab itna bada kaand kiya hei toh sunna toh padega naa...😆

Anywz i just loved the episode. Writers deserve a special round of applause for writing such fabulous dialogues.👏 Aditi and Adnan were just too good and i am tired of appreciating them.😆

kekeke... I also worked in Bangalore for a few years. so thats my point -- you would expect to see a mix of different stuff in the office right? I used to wear saris one day a week for fun. other colleagues thought I was being strange but I just loved it. best part, the city bus would slow down when I am wearing sari. wheras I was wearing some other outfit and running, they would still speed away many days. I was forever late. 😂 I never figured out what was the magic in those saris. 🤣

I believe the dress code in office is dependent on place to place or company to company..

In pune people wear t-shirt jeans, kurta jeans,top trousers..

They normally wear saaree on traditional day only

It truly was a great confrontation scene.. Katha asking all the right questions especially that line where she said 'agar mein maa nahi hoti, mujhe paise apne liye chahiye hote toh.. On point!! Writers were on fire.. (except a couple lines)

Viaan ke liye mujhe bhi bura laga.. Thought of jumping off the balcony for a second, came barefoot.. Broken completely with the realization and weight of guilt 💔 He deserves it I know but still 💔

indowestern is a mix of western plus indian. so in terms office attire, generally it is formal pants with a short kurti on top. the kurti length can vary. instead of pants, you can also do palazoo or leggings and even those would be considered indowestern type mix.

simply put, western wear has no prints or embroidery or any of those indian type touches.

something like this would be termed indowestern office wear:

I am the right person to explain u about Indo-Western clothes. 😆 I always wear Indo-western outfits.😆I don't have many sarees and salwars. Also knowing my nature that i can't handle sarees properly, my mom hardly gives her sarees. 😆

So on Ethnic day where we have to wear some kind of traditional dress,i wear kurta with jeans. Otherwise long skirt with traditional top with heavy jhumkas. and i call it indo-western look.😆

to give you more ideas of how indowestern inspired office wear can look like:

twinklestar: as you can see it has an indian flavour but there is a mix of western in terms of the bottom. there will be a wide variety of prints. even if it is mono colour, in terms of tailoring cut, the kurti has a distinct style as opposed to a dress shirt. as I told you, the length can vary.

maybe it is the weather, but many people do like indowestern wear for the convenience. basically it is a mix and match -- so you just pair up any top with any bottom you have have. it is not one unified set like a salwar set. also no dupatta!
