HearMeRoar, I won't argue with you as I admit that the wording (with the use of "country") is associated to JFK and his acceptance speech...and plagiarize means "to use another person's idea(s) or work and pretend that it is the own".
Still, in this case, that isn't something I perceive as negative or worth to be criticised, exactly because there is no sort of copyright for this sentence - just an association one makes or doesn't make. Kennedy himself may have found this sentence very apt when he reminded it having heard it in another circumstance.
However, I agree that in movies (and art generally), ideas of others are used (although often slightly changed/given a personal touch).
I do think it's a negative. I also think it needs to called out really loudly and vociferously because:
1) YRF frequently and blatantly steals ideas and plots as was the case with Ladies vs. Ricky Bahl. Dharma does, too, with Kalank. Adi Chopra stole credit from Honey Irani for DDLJ.
2) YRF then sues small-time YouTubers for copyright violation when they use scenes in criticisms! That is actually fair use, not violation, but those small-timers won't have the resources to go up against a giant like Yash Raj.
🤣

This is a real one from the trailer?😳😳 Ok, they are just writing trolling material for Twitter now

You mean she does a 'Sunehri' 😆
So there's a twist where she is going to pretend she's Donald Trump in the movie?
HMR, I've no intention to defend YRF or Aditya...it was just my opinion regarding that one sentence 😊
