I dont feel anything .. Kat movie fail but she is making money elsewhere.. I dont think it will affect them much or ppl will find another way to survive..
as for most big stars. they make money elsewhere
They've had it coming for the longest time for continuously churning out crap - remakes, formulaic films, slapstick and low brow comedy.
Or stupid action films. Idk how people can keep watching the same crap again and again when it comes to these genres. Of course a mixture is needed but I agree, a lot of them have been really bad for a long time. However, content driven films are not even doing well either. It's like a hit or miss.

I think actors and actresses of these days are not that talented and famous as the old ones. There's too many, that could be one of the reasons. Most of them are nepo kids and it has become easier to enter the industry which probably explains the lack of talent unlike 90s.
And I feel these nepos have a much easier time to stay and keep getting films. Also, for me social media has really turned me off to a lot of celebrities. I don't even follow anyone due to the fact that there isn't any mystery or mystic to them anymore. I don't care to know all what they do, and sometimes seeing them comes off fake for likes and more followers. It's a weird world we live in now.
I think the last film I went to see in theaters related to bw was maybe 2018? So it's been a minute for me too.
Nothing. Its not my fault that BW is churning out shitty content.
Well said. It is not like old days when Rekha, Hema, Reena, Parveen were still going strong but Sridevi, Jayaprada, Poonam, Rati, Padmini came along and then Meenakshi and Madhuri came along and even Juhi, Divya came around.
Earlier there was overflow of talent and such wide variety. Rajesh, Amitabh, Dharam, Vinod, Jeetendra, Shatru, Shashi, Rishi and so many like Mithun, Govinda, Anil while yesteryear icons like Dilip, Raaj K were also going strong and even villains were nehle pe dehla like Ranjeet, Pran, Prem Chopra, Madan Puri, Amrish, Danny, Shakti, Gulshan Grover etc.
Totally nothing like that pool and variety of talent and distinct personality wale actors now.
I daresay even the parallel cinema guys like Manoj, Pankaj are no great shakes and are too overhyped and are not as excellent or versatile as Om and Naseer in past.
I used to be a big bollywood fan followed all the movies songs news etc
Now I just hate bollywood there’s nothing organic about this industry and hate the deep rooted nepotism and favoritism of this industry
The actors of today don’t deserve to get paid 30-40 crores to come up with subpar content
I also feel today's actors look same in all roles and never become the character.
They never fit characters like a glove and look fake especially in non urban or non glam roles.
They look worse with fake brown face to look poor.
Hardly look villager or middle class either.
And they are so over exposed in media, social media that there is no excitement to see them in films.
Ash is Nandini in HDDCS and Paro in Devdas. Can't say same for today's actresses and mannequins.
After I saw the IIFA nominations and Filmfare OTT winners. I am sorry to say, I once again feel like they definitely dug their own grave. So good for them!
