I agree. Tabu is doing far better work than she did in 2000s. I am glad she gets those opportunities.

Today's plastics look alike. Disha, Jhanvi blah blah. Shraddha has also overdone her masoom ladki act.

Ananya cannot act to save her life. Sara may be articulate but she is a bad actor and has poor dance and voice modulation skills.

There is no actor who could make a mark in even a brief role the way you rightly named Shakti Kapoor in AAA who is still iconic as Crime Master Gogo or his Aaoouu from Chaalbaaz is still popular.

All new actors are crap. Even in offbeat or OTT space we have older lot like Manoj, Nawaz, Pankaj holding fort and they are not some newbies but have been around for more than decade.

New actors are all lookalikes and useless.

No offense to fans but I am not fond of what these Varuns or Tigers do. And I feel disappointed how Ranveer also wasted potential and always needs Bhansali to bring out the actor in him.

People have more options than going to a theatre to watch a movie.

Millions of channels on YouTube is the one reason.

Yes. So much content of all varieties from regional to global at tip of their fingers in comfort of home as well as apps and games. Why will they go to theatre for films or same old plots and concepts or plastic faces?

And spend so much on overpriced tickets?

The attention span has also reduced. You can watch 5 min videos and clips or reels online or take pauses and revisit content anytime online. Why will you sit for 3 hours at a stretch to watch a film?

I'm glad there has been a decline and that a lot is flopping at the box office. Yes, it does not have any effect on my life, but I think there needs to be some change in bw for better cinema. I think the industry thinks their audience is stupid and that is far from the truth, barring few lot here and there. 😆

I met some relatives today and they said same thing that Netflix is way better and Korean series, foreign films and shows are way better than Indian content and if one has seen that, why will they see Bollywood? They also feel better to see content in comfort of own home and own room and say why'd anyone go to cinema halls when there is OTT now?

My uncle and cousins are hooked to Netflix. And do not like any new film or actor and also say they have no idea of what films Khans have done in last 8-9 years or what Ranbir or Ranveer types are up to.

It is clear that with technology we have way more options. We have podcasts, e books, courses, videos, Insta, YouTube, Twitter, FB, books, online forums, clubs, old content also online and global content, games, online apps, courses etc. So much to do and see and learn or shop or read or write or do or order from comfort of own bedroom. Why would anyone waste time on copy paste unimaginative shit of BW? That is remixing even 10 year old songs or remaking own films and has no original writing or content and actors have no personality?
