One would think he could bring something to the table for India or vice versa. Isn't it?

Does this mean that people in India expect him to be pro India and pro Hindu?

I don’t think anyone expects anything from him. His loyalties are with Britain and that’s only fair.

Just him being unapologetic Hindu is sure to burn lot of people as we can see. 😆

As a PRO-INDUSTRIAL, his PRO-HINDI stance could ingratiate himself with the BJP, isn't it?

Just because he is Hindu and of "Indian origin" people expect him to move closer to India. But isn't he a Brit? Shouldn't his loyalties lie with British?

Don't we as Indian expect loyalty towards our own country regardless of religion and ethnicity Aren't some people of a certain community attacked on the suspicion of divided loyalties towards our country?

So how can it be right if his tint towards India be right based on his religion and his ethnicity?

Many people for some reason do seem to expect him to move closer to India based solely on religion and ethnicity.Which is what I am against.

It's really good to see a person with his origins from former colony shaping the future of a country which built it's wealth by looting the lands which it colonised. But other than that how right is it on the part of Indians to expect him to have a pro India and pro Hindu stance?
