I’m absolute pissed off with this current track! It’s friggin 2022 for crying out loud. What’s up with beti being baap ka fikar? What’s up with this log kya kahenge nonsense? And so what if she has a boyfriend and has sex? What the heck are these guys selling??? Sure, I appreciate that they want the girl to get education before marriage but why add in this “log kya kaheinge” narrative? Haven’t women been shamed enough already for generations that this so-called-progressive drama is also indulging in the same?! Ridiculous! Seriously upsetting!

Agreed! I don’t think I will watch again. The dialogue about “ladki ka baap hona bohut mushkil kaam hai” between Vanraj and Baapu Ji was what broke the camel’s back for me. In a country, where girls are killed in womb, you’re still preaching the same bullshit? Why is Baap’s izzat measured by his daughter’s virginity? You’d expect a PROGRESSIVE show to question that generations old bullshit. But nope. Absolutely disheartening and disgusting. So so sad that I started watching Anupama in hopes that here is a beacon of hope in the mass tirade of regression. But these guys are the same too.

Sad that there is no middle path in Indian television. Either it’s this “bechaara beti ka baap” syndrome or it’s “sleeping with everyone” syndrome on the other end of the spectrum masquerading as progression.

Why can’t there be healthy conversations about relationships, sex, life? Ugh!

sex discussion choro, college jaana band., shaadi kara do.. all.. cant discuss or talk like normal educated person. aree nahi padna toh mat pad. nahi hai uska interest padne mei toh let her do something which she finds interesting like fashion designing, Make up artist, jewelry designing. When anybody not only teenagers get occupied, their perspective changes, they get a goal in their lives. they come out of their small world and get to know that the world is vast and one can do a lot in life other than marriage.

I have seen that episode in which Samar had open communication with Pakhi. Really, that was really cool and nice.

I hope pakhi matures, becomes financially independent and gets out of shah house.

These fathers Vanraj and hasmukh didn't lose their izzat when Vanraj was having extra marital affair for 9 years. When the whole family abused a lady for 25 years.

When their elder son was sleeping around leaving a pregnant wife to be taken care of my Vanraj's ex wife?
