Shivi OS: The 'Thin Line'

Been frustrated for too long, Show makers are hell bent on showing Raavi as a dumb who can trust Shiva, and then suddenly act like she cant trust Shiva one bit.😡

"Dur hatt...samajh mein nahi aa raha hai tujhe Shiva? Mujhe tujhse baat nahi karni, naahi tujhe apne paas dekhna hai." An enraged Raavi shouted as she pushed an embarrassed Shiva away.

Having been humiliated like this was nothing new for Shiva as he shrugged his shoulders in defeat and walked out of the house, in search of solace that only being alone could provide.

And then there was one pair of eyes who knew what injustice was happening to Shiva. And he wanted to do something about it.

And he knew what could help.

Next day, at the store, Dev noticed Shiva working monotonously without a care in the world. The ever-greeting guy never even looked up to the person who demanded things from him. He just silently gave the things asked for and went ahead with his day.

And to top it off, he even ignored Krish's teasing as if he hadn't even heard him, or didn't care at all.

Dev walked upto Gaumbi to talk when he saw Shiva storm out of the store.

"Ise kya hua?". asked Gaumbi as Dev looked at him pitifully.

"Mujhe pata hai kya hua hoga." Replied Dev as he silently removed his phone from his pocket and searched for Raavi's profile on social media. She had posted the video which was recorded when Raavi was beating the molester and she had written, 'Ye sab sirf Arnav ji ki wajah se hua. Thank you so much Arnav ji for your constant support. You are my hero and you saved me!!'

"Yeh Raavi ne kuch jyaada kar diya." Dev sighed as he looked at Gaumbi.

"Kyun, aise kya hua?" Gaumbi enquired.

Dev just showed him the video and told him about the caption too.

"Par Shiva ne jo uss din Raavi se pucha aise sabke saamne woh bhi to galat tha na?"

"Are Gaumbi aapko sach mein nahi lagte ki Raavi ne galat nahi likha? Kya Shiva ne usko saath nahi diya jab Maa use apna account band karne bol rahi thi? Shiva uske support mein khada tha Maa ke saamne. Par Raavi ke post se to logon ke yahi lagega ki Raavi ka pati to kisi kaam ka nahi hai aur Raavi ko kisi teesre insaan ki help leni padi..."

"Haan leni padi help, kyunki mein jaanti hun gussa sar pe chadha to kitna jungli ho jaata hai woh..." interuppted Raavi as she angrily marched in.

"Kya galat likha maine Dev. Sirf Arnav hi tha jisne start se end tak meri help ki hai. Support karna ho na to Arnav se sikhna chahiye. Calmly cheezon ko handle karna chahiye. Humesha gussa karne se baat nahi banti.." Raavi continued as her anger flared at Dev supporting Shiva.

"Dekho Raavi, mana ki Shiva ka gussa bahut kharab hai, lekin aisa nahi hai ki uske gusse se kisiki madad nahi hui hai. Tum uski Wife ho, aur pichle ek saal se as a Wife tumne use dekha hai. Tumne yeh bhi dekha hai ki usne tum dono ki dusri shaadi ke baad tumhe kitna support kiya hai. Par tum use aise blame kar rahi ho, jaise usne bahut bada gunaah kar diya hai. Tumhara picha kiya usne kyunki tumhari fikar karta hai woh. Raavi there is a very thin line between Worry and Insecurity. Mujhe pata hai Shiva ko dhang se apni feelings express karte nahi aata. Lekin tumne jo itni badi baat Shiva se aur hum sabse share karna chahiiye tha to tumne share kyun nahi kiya? Ek baar humne tumhare saath ek plan share nahi kiya to tumne yeh ilzam lagaya tha hum sab par ki hum tumhe humari family ka hissa nahi mante, lekin kya tumne aisa socha? Mana ki tumhe laga ki humein koi pareshaani na ho isiliye tumne apne aap hi apni problem ka hal nikalne ka faisla kiya lekin phir Shiva ko to tum bata sakti thi na. Use kyun nahi bataya tumne? Pati hai woh tumhara, pura haqq banta hai uska yeh jaanne ka ki tum kahaan ho, kya kar rahi ho, kisi musibat mein to nahi ho. Agar woh aisa karta hai to tumhe lagta hai ki Shiva insecure hai aur tumpe shaqq kar raha hai. Lekin wahin agar usne aisa nahi kiya to tumhe lagega ki mere pati ko to meri kuch padi hi nahi hai. Chit bhi tumhari pat bhi tumhari. Aisa nahi chalta Raavi...."

Raavi's anger dissipated as she listened to Dev's words clearly.

Gaumbi, who was listening to Dev interupted in between, "Par Shiva ne galti to ki na Dev, to tu iss bichari ko kyun bol raha hai..?"

Dev let out a saacastic laugh and looked at Gaumbi, "Dhara Bhabhi ke saath kabhi kisi ladke wala kaand nahi hua hai na Gaumbi, isiliye aap aise bol rahe ho. Lekin agar mein Shiva ke jagah hota to mujhe bhi lagta ki mujhe apni biwi ke baare mein sab pata hona chahiye, woh kahaan gayi hai, kya kar rahi hai. Yeh meri responsibility hai ki mein uski raksha karun. Par pata nahi, Inn biwiyon ko aisa kyun lagne lag jata hai ki hum inpe trust nahi karte. Hum inpe trust karte hain, bass inke aas paas ke logon per nahi karte. Mujhe yaad hai, jab Rishita ke boss ke time pe jab woh uss pe meherbaani kar ke bahut saare favours kar raha tha to mujhe kitni tension ho gayi thi. Tab meri aur Rishita ki bhi ladayi hui thi iss baat pe. Lekin fir jab Rishita ko maine acche se samjhaya to woh samajh gayi. Ab hum dono ke beech uss type ki misunderstanding nahi aa sakti. Lekin Shiva mere jaisa nahi hai. Woh mere jaise upfront hone mein believe nahi karta. Gussa chadh jata hai use, lekin uske gusse se humare parivaar ko fayda bhi hua hai. Jab bhi Janardhan se pange hue hain, Humesha Shiva ne hi sambhala hai. Dhara Bhabhi ke gehne jab chori ho gaye the to Shiva ke gusse ne hi Bhabhi ke gehne wapas dilwaye. Are apna gussa bhulake woh Janardhan ke ghar naukar tak banne ko taiyaar ho gaya tha, kiske liye? Humare liye, yaani uske pariwaar ke liye. Jab bhi tumhari jaan khatre mein dali usne apni jaan pe khel ke tumhari jaan bachayi hai, Kya tum woh sab bhul gayi? Bolo Raavi?"

Raavi had no answer to his question as she turned her head in shame. Tears glistened her eyes as she realized that every word that Dev said was nothing but the truth.

"Mein yeh nahi keh raha ki Shiva ne tumpe ungli utha ke sahi kiya, Lekin tumhe ek pal ke liye bhi uss Shiva ka khayal nahi aaya jisne tumhare liye Maa se ladayi ki, tumhe support kiya? Kisi aur ne tumhara saath diya, tumhari help ki to tum pal bhar mein uss ke vishwas, uss support sabko bhul gayi jo Shiva ne tumhe diya hai? Aur ho na ho, Shiva ke aise react karne tumhara bahut bada haath hai. Tum Shiva ko blame karke humesha apna haath nahi jhatak sakti. Agar iss baar galti Shiva ki hai, to kahin na kahin tumne use majboor kiya hai. Kya tum sach mein Shiva se jyaada uss anjaan insaan Arnav pe bharosa kar rahi ho? Uss insaan pe jise tum sirf kuch dino se jaanti ho? Haath pe haath daalke uske saath ghum rahi ho? Uske saath kisi anjaan lodge mein jaa rahi ho, woh bhi akele? Itna kam vishwass hai tumhara humpe ya apne PATI Shiva pe ki tumne hume saath lejana bhi zarori nahi samjha? Yeh to hum hain jo jaante hai ki kya ho raha hai, Lekin agar tum chahti ho ki tum bina kisi explaination diye sab logon ne tumhe samajhna chahiye to please, jitni tum bholi ho na, utna duniya ko to bilkul nahi samajhna. Log batein banane mein der nahi lagate, aur bhale hi tum victim ho, tumhara common sense iss baar nahi chala, tum sirf sab kuch akele karna chahti thi, thik hai, kar leti, lekin tumne kisi ko bhi inform karna zarorri nahi samjha. Agar bhagwan na kare tumhe kuch ho jaata to kya karte hum? Humein to malum bhi nahi padta ki tum kahaan ho kyunki tumne humein bataya hi nahi. Shiva ko apni galti ka ehsaas khud se hua hai, but as usual, tumhe to humesha koi aur hi lagta hai, tumhari galti realize karwane ke liye."

Till the time Dev finished his rant, he was boling in anger. The anger which he didn't knew existed. He just shook his head in disaproval.

"Ek aakhri baat, Agar Shiva tumpe bhar bazaar mein ungli utha ke tumhe badnaam karta hai na, to tum bhi devi nahi ho, tum bhi aisa kar chuki ho, to agar use apni galti ka ehsaas ho gaya hai na, to samjhdaar ko ishaara hi kaafi hai.Bholi ho, lekin tum mein akal hai. Uska istemaal karo. Sahi logon pe bharosa karna, aur apnon be bharosa barkaraar rakhna seekho. Tumhari aadhi taklifein durr ho jayengi."

And he walked away, Raavi looked at Gaumbi, who was looking at her with pity.

Raavi knew what she had to do. She took out her phone and removed the caption from the post and renamed the post as 'Fight against molesters'.

Next, she went in search of Shiva, whom she knew would be mad in anger. But she knew, he would not stay mad with her for too long.

I do believe that this time both Shiva and Raavi are equally at fault and the entire dialogue of Dev was very well written...

Raavi is definitely one of my fav characters and it is really irritating to see them ruin her...I hope this Arnav track wraps up soon though the actor is still shooting..

Also can we please have a second part where we see Raavi's apology too..

I actually love the approach here! Not that I like Dev for a bit he's every bit useless but reading this in an alternate universe really does soothe my heart!

Because everything listed here, all of Shiva's sacrifices and his mistakes have been listed, the biggest factor being he realised it! I highly believe Raavi should realise her mistakes too, but she doesn't by herself unless someone probes her!

So I may not like Dev one bit, but reading Shiva's sacrifices and feelings being noticed and validated by someone really soothes my heart. Thank you!

I actually thought back to Dev and Rishita's example when this situation came about. You just have to put yourself into the other person's situation and you'll understand that little bit more.

Shiva definitely needs to learn from his mistakes, but his mistake at the end doesn't cover hers. Shiva had made himself emotionally available for Raavi, he had consoled her and supported her with this, he had always wanted her to share her troubles with him, to notify him of things. But she shunned it and chose another route. Trust works both ways. For me she didn't trust Shiva either. I want her to realise where she went wrong. Atleast this OS covered it! ❤️

First of all Praniti welcome back to the forums. The Forum is incomplete without writers like you.

I must say the approach you picked up. I was crying. Sobbing holding back my tears.

You always write the fact that constantly stirs in our minds. When Shiva was wrong I remember you pointed his follies beautifully in the form of ur writings and now too.

Coming back to the Os. Please first of all I want a second third part but an ending where I'll be satisfied the best.

Though Dev has himself done some huge mistakes and his character is still no influential in the show. But I guess I would like to agree with this Dev.

The irony!! Is that Shiva everytime for his every mistake literally begged Raavi by folding hands for a proper apology.

Why aren't shows are showing us a true apology from the fl side. It isn't like the fls are perfect .

Starting from the lines

"Ek baar humne tumhare saath ek plan share nahi kiya to tumne yeh ilzam lagaya tha hum sab par ki hum tumhe humari family ka hissa nahi mante, lekin kya tumne aisa socha?"

These lines are so apt. Can anyone from the fam question it to Raavi. I'm sure I don't watch the show but , Shiva would he enough guilt tripped by now that in no hell he will ask questions. But someone needs to show the mirror to her. The reactions of Raavi herself in the past.

There is a very thin line indeed. Raavi always shrugs Shiva by shushing him calling him insecure .

Caring someone precious and being insecure are two different things. And I don't think we will ever get to know the difference in the show.

Ok on now coming to this line, the sarcasm dripping from it : "Chit bhi tumhari pat bhi tumhari. Aisa nahi chalta Raavi...."

I can't seriously believe what in the actual hell the writers wanted to show by making Raavi the dumbest soul on Earth. Trusting a stranger over her family. I mean no words.

They started to make Raavi irritating, and it broke my heart. Raavi may be was naive. But she was as well innocent. They were succesfull in ruining her innocence for the general audience. YEAH HONESTLY.

Is this really Dev. The harsh truth and Sarcasm dripping from his mouth . Oh gosh. Someone is spitting the truth and I can't help but shed tears.

Shiva ko aajtak kisine bhi insaan se zyaada. Yaa shaayd usse kam hi samjha hai. But people think the fl are goddess. The line "tum bhi devi nahi ho"

The lines are purely touching my heart. Praniti idk what to say . I'm speechless yet my heart is escalating in a very frenzied manner. The things my ears are longing to hear in the show are said out loud.

I couldn't help but cry.

Sahi logo pe, jinko apna maana hai unko apna banakr dekh Raavi. You'll never face problems in ur life. It's like as if once again Raavi is giving the advantage to outsiders instead of her own fam. Like she did when Shiva beat her snake friends. And that makes me cry more that apart of 1 yrs of marriage the progression is still *ZERO* .

Until and unless the cycle of MU and misconception continues I won't take neither Shiva , nor Raavi's apology seriously.

Pls pls Praniti, write another part. This deserves another part where they talk communicate and finally their relationship shows some progress.
