I'm not too disappointed - Page 3

Atif left long time back. He's not the director. He infact left Gul's production house. Frankly I'm not even interested in this show anymore. For me it ended with Arylie's death. Thanks for tagging though.

Thanks for the tag but not interested in this show anymore infact started watching from episode 310 so came with Aryan to this show and haven't watched the last 2episodes also of season 1. can't see fav characters die 💔Anyways waiting for SuMaan next . Hope they r back soon individually or together in a show.

Rupi (assuming it is Aditya's sister) again returned back.. maybe she didn't mind to age up.. which is fine. maybe to balance Tripathi and Rathore..

Even if Narmada was made to become vamp, why will Sundar and Arpita not wish 2nd imlie own daughter of Aryan and Imlie to not study in city. Maybe the makers wanted to give same tatter look and feel as per old Imlie's attire.

Now if the serial has leaped to 2040.. we should get insights to some good gizmos.. auto assistants who can do vampgiri and give ideas to Narmada for becoming vamp. Poor Narmada... agar koi vamp banne ko tayar nahin toh use bana do... Overall seems progressing rockily with rockstar hero's entry.

Even the most stupid dumb kid in the universe these days can get admission in any English medium school.. so many schools in villages are english medium too.. unfortunately maybe the makers wish to inform all that this disparity of village vs town will continue in 2040 too.. which is good to know... so we need more vernacular based gadgets.

I swear I was thinking the same thing about 2040. But what else to expect from a show that showed such crap in the 2020-2022 period. Also in 2040, DJ = superstar singer apparently!

• I don't understand why Narmada hates Imlie and not cheeni since I expected it to be the other way around (you're the daughter of the woman who killed my arylie) but nope. She despises Imlie.
• I don't understand why Imlie was originally living in PD (did Narmada hate her right after Arylie's death and send her to Meethi?) and then brought to the Rathores.
• I don't understand how Cheeni started calling her Imliya (maa se bhi badkar idol) Imlie

thanks for sharing your first impressions. sounds like it isn't a total trainwreck. haven't seen the episode yet but just some random ideas on the above points:

-- narmada hating imlie 2.0 is a nice twist and in a way, it makes sense. so these are just ideas based on episodes I did see. there was a good chunk where I stopped watching and simply read written updates. so narmada did have issues with imlie right after the marriage. however, some of the criticisms that narmada raised -- I felt they were fair and needed to be explored further. but that would mean imlie would have to be wrong and she is never wrong. so, nope that was all dropped ...🙄🙄

-- from what I remember: narmada felt aryan was giving too much but receiving little. she felt he was losing his way where his life was all about imlie's adventures. she was incredibly mad that he was getting hurt and injured because he was trying to protect imlie all the time. she was also mad at imlie as she felt imlie wasn't as focused on the rathore family and not as committed (in contrast to her first marriage where she clung to the tripathis).

-- now skip to the end, we had aryan take a 9 month break where he went back to work and had a life that was outside of imlie. he saw cheeni on the weekends and they seemed to be okay with him getting married to malini. maybe they felt malini and cheeni brought some much needed structure and order to his life after a period of utter chaos where he lost himself because of his feelings.

-- then, aryan and imlie got back together and he ended up dying. so imlie was the agent of chaos that brought her baggage and issues from prior relationship and her son ended up paying for it with his life -- now if we see it that lens, it may make sense why narmada will hate imlie 2.0. she might even see cheeni as another victim and malini perhaps pushed to madness.

-- she could also see imlie 2.0 as the bringer of bad luck who ultimately took the life of her son. so her vibe is such that she swallowed up her parents energy -- like how they say in some of these supernatural serials.

-- it could also be narmada sent away imlie 2.0 as she didn't want to be reminded of the loss of her son and she was brought up in PD with the financial support.

-- am guessing that it will be a thing and we will get some scenes from narmada explaining her view but that may be some of the feelings/reasons that are behind this hostility

-- as for imlie 2.0 having the same name -- odd but there are families who will give the name of a recently departed family member to the baby. maybe that is what happend. is imlie better than cheeku as a name on a school certificate? 😆 so is cheeni also called malini?

VAMP and VILLAIN yeh aisa slot hain... jahan many do not wish to attempt as all wish to be hero or heroine..

abhi Dadima vamp kyon ho gayi toh ispe logic dalne ki jarurat nahin hain..

ek show mein ek vamp ki jarurat hain... toh jab tak koi nahin.. narmada hi sahi.. Cheeni ko pahile hi din se vamp dikhayenge toh bahut jyaada ho jayega... tussle nahin rahega..

Imlie 1 and 2 ko toh bechare english school bhi naseb nahin hota hain..

unke region mein google / internet ki abhi bhi inadequacy hain..

pagdandiya ke furnitures / fixtures mein kuch bhi change nahin aaya..

entertainment toh idhar hain...

udhar toh bus... ek mudda hain.. sochta hain Bharat 'aaj bhi 2040 mein... humare desh ki ladkiyon ko English seekhne ke liye kitni difficulty aur taane jhelni padti hain... 20 saal bhi Bharat Varsh aise hi rahega.. .saaf saaf bata diya hain...

I had raised these points a few months ago where I had pointed out that Narmada was not wrong in thinking that Imlie had somewhere destroyed (indirectly and certainly not alone) the Tripathi family and she was beginning to be afraid the same would happen to her son and family. The amount of hate I got on the forum!

And my point was kind of proven, Narmada's fears came true. Even if Imlie wasn't directly responsible, she is the agent of chaos as you put it.

I suppose that make sense to an extend. But the mother having stronger hatred for her DIL than love for her son is weird to say the least 🤓 so do her hating her granddaughter over her suppose carrier of badluck than being the daughter of her only deceased son. Well, it’s GK’s world so everything weird and nonsense is possible 😆
