Episode # 5 begins with view of Daryal Road a drive by car being enjoyed by two youngsters , who are a married couple . suddenly they are attacked by gun shots . They are surrounded by strangers who pick up a fight with the couple . The couple are scared but the woman gets strength from unknown source n fight back n beats up the terrorists black n blue . The girl even hits her companion. He is shocked n they finally arrive at 108 BH.

The CO collects lol his officers and announces that their hospital 108 BH has received the coveted chief of staff commendation award. He praises the trauma and casualty dept heads Aniruddh and Naina . Naina praises her entire team for this achievement .

Later Naina appreciates Aniruddh as he received so much praise from their CO . She offers her help in case he needed . Naina is called to see a strange case . She is possessed , she is active weird n seeing hallucinations . Naina learns how she had fought off terrorists in this state of possession. Her companion narrates that she might be possessed by witch or might be having seizures. Naina calms her with low dose sedation n orders all investigation n scans n poison tests.

In his room Prarthana’s harsh words regarding truth pains Aniruddh. In his room Aniruddh feels sad he could not save parents of the two kids . He weeps .

He calms down n visits his kids , he takes fatherly care of the kids . He notices how the kids loved their dead parents n slept hugging their pics . Aniruddh talks about the kids with the caretaker .

Ved comes n gives Naina a tight hug. They have friendly banter. They sit on a bench near the ledge n he demands Hot chocolate as he is habituated .

When Naina goes to get his drink he chats with someone assuring he will keep watch on Naina and Aniruddh. Naina and Ved share hot chocolate drink. Naina rests her head on Ved’s shoulder. Ved then reminds Naina how she had warned her against loving Aniruddh, but she never listened . Ved challenges her to burn his pic n declare that she will throw his out of her life . Naina gets teary eyed n is unable to complete this challenge . She is calls to emergency ward.

The woman shows abnormal behaviour . Bites Naina , Anirudh wants to bind the woman’s hands but Naina disagrees , they have an argument over managing this case.

Anirudh gets gifts for the kids , bed time stories for Pratham and Doll for Prarthana, they dislike his gifts . They however carry on going to school .

Aniruddh is seen having breakfast in mess. He is shocked to meet Vad Gupta , from Delhi , the great neurologist.

Vad gives his opinion on managing the woman with strange behaviour . Ved n Aniruddh are at loggerheads n disagree on management .

CO Surya Kant and PM kavita are shocked as the women’s husband gets tantrick baba, he starts jhaar phook… Kavita scolds the junior doctors for allowing tantrik into the Mil Hospital.

Surya Kant and Naina scold the jr doctors for forgetting their medical ethics n tying up the hands n legs of a woman in inhumanly manner . Naina punished the jr docs with extra duties .

The local people and family members of the sick woman create ruckus at the gates of 108 BH.

CO holds meeting in his office . He takes opinions of Naina, Ved, Aniruddh, Kavita . They plan their management . They plan to operate the woman, her husband however declares the wife possessed by witch n refuses to take her to his home n decides to divorce her n leave her at maika . Naina wants consent of the woman’s family for the difficult surgery.

Mili is with the other junior docs n Mili shares how she is impressed with Mr Sameer .

Janvi has fun with her friends. They get a call from the ward n rush to see the reports of the fresh case , all reports, scans n poison tests come normal . The Jr docs are surprised n wonder what’s ailing the lady .

Sameer enters 108 BH n is shocked to see the ruckus created by local people at the gate demanding handing over the possessed woman who needed tantrick treatment or the entire village might get affected by the witch. Sameer warns the rioting civilians n warns of army action if they forcibly enter 108 BH which is military area.

They should keep calm n let doctors of 108 BH treat the woman.

Naina and Aniruddh detect malignant tumour in the brain of the woman causing this abnormal behaviour . They decide to manage with surgery , chemo n radiotherapy.

Anuriddh seeks Sameer’s help to get the woman’s disinterested husband to give consent for her brain surgery .

Later Aniruddh and Sameer together convince the woman’s husband to give his consent n not divorce her or abandon her . They use emotional angle and succeed , they assure they will try their best , they appreciate the guy for supporting his wife when she needed him the most .

Naina , Aniruddh and Kavita begins the difficult surgery . As the surgery begins everything is under control but soon the woman’s vitals sink and her heart stops . Naina tries to revive her . Aniruddh states that they have lost the case . Naina keeps trying to revive her with CPR .

Naina, Ved and Anirudh are having an argument caught in a love triangle . Anuriddh confesses that there has not been a day he has not thought of Naina or missed her smile .
