I'm not too disappointed

I'm actually pleasantly surprised (a lil). Mostly confused cause what in the world is going on???? But a lil pleasantly surprised.

The new bgm for Imlie 2.0 and love interest sounds so good - like I'm into it! I have faith in Arif to create some magical chemistry cause he's so good with that.

I was worried about Cheeni - worried about her heading into the same direction as Aarohi (yrkkh) where she's psychotic and tortures Imlie for no good reason but they seem to have a camaraderie that's adorable with the handshake. I understand some of her insecurities and rn I don't hate her character. Props to the actress too.

But for the most part I don't understand the story.

• I don't understand why Narmada hates Imlie and not cheeni since I expected it to be the other way around (you're the daughter of the woman who killed my arylie) but nope. She despises Imlie.
• I don't understand why Imlie was originally living in PD (did Narmada hate her right after Arylie's death and send her to Meethi?) and then brought to the Rathores.
• I don't understand how Cheeni started calling her Imliya (maa se bhi badkar idol) Imlie
• Didn't Cheeni call Narmada and Meethi 'Nani' - did she stop seeing Meethi entirely after Arylie's death and have complete memory loss?
• Also the intro by Sumbul confused me a lil - why wasn't she giving Cheeni an intro too, cheeni was her reason for being when she separated from Aryan
• Also, where is Arpita and Sundar's son?
• what are these girls dreams? Imlie was very clear about her dreams from the start and in the intro, she kept mentioning Imlie 2.0's dreams but what are they?

Not the biggest fan of the makers trying to replicate Imlie with Imlie 2.0 (clothing and everything - she's also Aryan's daughter and I want to see both sides to her as well as individuality).

Makers, despite your fabulous cast Aditya was butchered, Malini was butchered, Narmada and Aparna had their insane periods - keep these girls sane please. Keep imlie and malini likeable. That's my request.

Sumbul, Gashmeer, Fahmaan, I miss yall

I'm not even trying to make sense of this and investing my time in this crap story.

The set up to leap is itself soo shaky.

Like i know ITV is logic less but it has to be easy to understand because target audience doesn't have time to analyse frame by frame and dialogue by dialogue.

I thought the same too, I mean shouldn’t Narmada be mad at cheeni and loving to imlie. That part I will never understand, like she doesn’t have to hate either of them but if she has to it would make sense if it is cheeni and hence cheeni is salty towards imlie.

Like why are they making imlie gawar. As in is PD still the same with no proper schooling, I don’t fine the need to show her to be her mothers copy, she can still love the village but styling needn’t be the same.

looks like the same premise, the entire theme is gonna be how cheeni steals atharva from imlie.

A small correction though..as far as I know atif has nothing to do.with this season he is no.longer associated with Gul on this show so how is this His song?? This is totally Gul and whoever is new on her team.. or maybe atif ka quitting drama was all a farce too like many other dramas who knows ..😆

Looks like Gul is handling the show. Gul & lalit mohan trained Atif in ishqbaaaz . We can easily differentiate bw Gul & Atif

Atif is busy doing another show and can't spare time for nautanki this time . Nani is hating imlie because she is the reason of her son's death .Pagdandiya ko to aana hi tha to show her simple and fierce like her mother .

the quality of work is so different zameen aasman ka farak in execution even if it is still absic tropes.. LM and gul know atleast how not to make them unbearable to watch.. even if you do not agree with story or characters they kamsekam look toh ache ek saath

Logic ki band bajathe rehthe hain. They wanted to create the og imlie malini animosity forcefully with choti imlie cheeni. Zero logic whatsoever in showing cheeni detest imlie just after one instance of malini poisoning her mind while she was dying.

Malini could not get the kid to turn against imlie even in the 9 months she was blackmailing cheeni about harming imlie if she did not do her bidding. So aisa kya huwa ki ithni zeher bhar gayi uski mann me growing up? Definitely sure sure ka persistent negative influence nahi lagtha. Rupi showing up out of the blue in the r home had me scratching my head.

So far megha has impressed and the song for the lead pair sounds good. The entry for the ml was not that great but thats just my opinion. Hopefully they get better with the upcoming episodes.
