When Ranbir didn't really have any competition in Bollywood, he used to make interesting choices. I don't think he has made an interesting choice since Jagga Jasoos.

Priyanka doesn't get her due credit for acting. None of the contemporary Bollywood actresses could play Jhilmil without it coming across as parody.

The first Ranbir movie I've watched and I was mighty impressed by his play.

Priyanka was very good, too. SRK did rehearsals with her as he had made experiences how to play someone on the autistic spectrum. (That was at the time when rumors went high that they had an affair, but PC had to learn - among others - that she would not be able to put SRK on the list of her lovers.)

If this is your impression, fine for you.

I would not like to compare both because people on an autistic spectrum are so very varying in behaviour and coping with the world... Rizwan and Jhilmil are different persons.

When you talk with the respective people, they would tell you, that both (and also Aamir's Laal) are true to the portrait of an autistic person (with Asperger).

Love this movie and still rewatch from time to time. Also, probably the last one from Haradhan Bannerjee, the grandpa. Everyone did well....sweet simple uncomplicated and unintentionally funny at times.
