The way Alia keeps styling her hair like dp. She didn’t use to act or dress like dp before but now she with rk she wants to be like dp which is weird. Did rk wanted dp because new interview rk says Alia mould herself to what he wanted. In the new rk alia movie promo, Ayan tried to recreate some of the looks he gave to dp to Alia

I can’t believe people are arguing that Alia isn’t copying Deepika’s style 😆. That’s something that has been observed and talked about all over social media not just IF. If people have an issue with the way Shaitan worded their post then that’s different. But to actually insist that they absolutely don’t see how Alia is copying DP is … well, actually nothing so carry on

But yes, basically since she started dating Ranbir it’s been observed that Alia’s style seems to be anywhere from heavily inspired by to direct copy of Deepika’s. And no it’s not just by Deepika fans.

Nothing in DP’s style is original so the claim itself is flawed that someone is copying DP 😆

Btw when ever I see any actress in chipku hairstyle I say to myself … Rekha style abd sane goes the draping of saree

DPs style may or may not be original. But there hasn’t been any blatant attempts to make Deepika look like someone else. No one says ohh Deepika is dressing like Katrina or Anushka. People see Alia and they observe a similarity in her style with Deepika. If everyone doesn’t see it then everyone doesn’t see it. But to claim that those who do (and significant number of Bollywood fans all over the net do) are making things up to attack Alia seems like an overreach in counter argument.

Deepika used to get inspire from Sonam’s style as well ….be it chipku bun or big/ loose clothes on airport etc etc etc but only difference is that no one’s PR has got that much time to focus and spread news on other actresses as much as DP PR 😆
you are clearly generalizing when you say “everyone” both ways 😆

I honestly don’t remember, but perhaps Sonam or her fans also called out Deepika. Sonam isn’t exactly a shrinking violet and she never shied away from saying something about Deepika. She didn’t even spare Aishwarya Rai over the Cannes fiasco and that turned out to be a contractual issue. So perhaps Deepika did her fair share of copying. That doesn’t change the fact Alia now seems to be copying Deepika.

“Everyone” was a wrong word to use, you are right.

Overlap is one thing. I always come across posts on Instagram showing two stars wearing the same thing. And it’s usually two random stars. Alia and Deepika situation seems more than random and overlap to some of us.
