Step-Family

I'm confused as to why Abhimanyu is the real boss, or rightful heir to the company. It seems like Dev hasn't taken the father's seat and is waiting for Abhimanyu to fill it. I always assumed they had the same father and different mothers, so even if they are half-siblings, Dev is still the older son with more right to the Raichand family business. I guess it was never explicitly specified that the mom is his step-mother (although she seems way too young to be his real mother). Does anyone have any insight as to what could be going on there? Could it be that the picture he talks to is actually his step-father, and he feels like he has to take care of his half-siblings because their father probably accepted him even when he wasn't his actual kid?

Could be because everyone in the office was naturally assuming that abhimanyu is the rightful heir also those guys told viddhi that in actual abhimanyu is the boss don't know if they were jesting or if there's a story behind it...could be that they think that since abhimanyu is young and dev is getting older and he has been taking care of business since he was 15 he might retire from business..

She is the step mother ans responsibilities would have fallen on Dev, after their Dad left.

Abhimanyu could be the heir as that maybe something Dev had done to either encourage him to join business, or something the step mom wants.

Right now it seems she treats and cares for Dev so nice change. Hopefully there is no evil intentions behind it.
