They did, since Veronica and Gautam were not in a relationship or married or engaged. It was a no-strings-attached relationship. Gautam wasn't obligated to fall for Veronica.

They did, but because Gautam was a Dbag who was quite ok boinking the *bad* girl while specifically stating he wanted to marry the *good* girl.

And Meera apparently was quite ready to boink the boyfriend of her supposed best friend, the same one who took her in when she had no place else to go. No, her leaving when Veronica reacted badly was not enough. That conversation between her and Gautam should never have happened to begin with.

I mean, there is something like friend code.

Or imagine 2 sisters. A man who's sexing it up with the free-spirited sister, wanting to marry the virginal one a few months later. Imagine the sister even CONSIDERING it!

The 2 snakes totally deserved each other. 👍🏼

ETA. Whenever discussion of this movie happens, I think I would've loved to see a 3 years later epilogue. 😆 Chances are Gautam would've left Meera with a couple of kids to raise while having his fun with other Ronnie Pappas. Veronica dodged a bullet.

To elaborate on why I'd divorce Vanraj if I were Nandini, it's because I refuse to accept the forced marriage that preposterous monster imposed on her. The level of cruelty still makes my blood curdle thinking about it. smiley35 Basically, the divorce would send shockwaves across the mansion and spite my father who's a megalomanic, cold, and callous old man. He deserves to hang his head in shame and worse for picking his ego and "social status" over my well-being.

Best to divorce Vanraj JUST to give him a big eff you and to break free of that sickening tie, and remarry him so that the relationship doesn't ever have to be associated with that cold blooded sociopath's cruelty, don't you think? :( After the divorce, I'd come back home for a bit to amuse myself with all the reactions and troll that evil plotting aunt for as long as I'm there. Somebody's gotta give it back to her too.

After a couple of months of chilling in the mansion, I'd run off with Vanraj (since he's the endgame here). And to add an extra cherry on top, I'd have another "respectable" groom of my stupid father's choice waiting at the wedding altar while I run off with Vanraj cuz they deserve that public humiliation and worse. Sorry not sorry about the collateral damage, I'm sure he'd find another girl. Leave it up to the fam to clean up that mess. Who cares! and NEVER look back! 🥳

You wanna divorce the same guy and wanna marry him again

Honestly that whole movie was lame af. We are shown that after having a passionate love affair with Sameer, singing duets, dancing around, she was forced to marry another guy who fell for in her what like 2 seconds? Because her a**hole father wanted that. Throughout the movie she was going berserk over Sameer, cutting her wrist for him, chasing his a** all over Italy and suddenly end mein apne husband ko choose kar lia, arre to itni mehnat kyu kari and apna aur apne pati ka time aur paisa kyu waste karaya 😆But it’s a “Bhansali” movie so

Sirf apna aur pati ka time waste nhi kiya audience ka bhi kiya.

Also In last scene, she went to meet sameer, oo behen agar usko reject hi karna tha toh gayi hi kyun. Wahan woh bechara vanraj pora raasta nakaam ashique waley expressions dy raha tha tab hi bol deti usko ky ek haath chuno. Fazool main dono ladko ko tadapaya 😂

Tho this movie used to be my guilty pleasure but yes it has many illogical ends

divorce Vanraj to break free of how mercilessly the marriage was forced on her by her cold blooded father.

disown that entire family and remarry him out of choice/free will, which she wasn't afforded before. Call me nuts, that's okay, it's the best compliment ever. 😆😆

i can't stand the fact that the pathetic megalomanic father of hers got away with inflicting something that criminal on her. in fact, i bet the end only made him more self-righteous and smug than ever. 😤 had they shown at least a sign of regret his end, and his conscience gnawing him, I probably wouldn't been nearly as annoyed.

Haha I liked your addition in story 😂

They can implement it, in it's sequel 😳
