Yash has one request for Toxic fans before they enter theatres: 'Let the next person....'

Ahead of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups hitting theatres, Yash has urged audiences not to record scenes or share spoilers from the film online. The actor, who also serves as a co producer, appealed to viewers to protect the theatrical experience for everyone.

Taking to social media, Yash spoke about the effort that went into creating the film and explained why he wanted audiences to experience it on the big screen without prior information. “Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is not just a film for us, it's years of heart poured into a world we built frame by frame, scene by scene, choice by choice. Every technician, artist, and crew member involved in the making and release of this film intends for you to have a similar experience. An experience made for the big screen as a community,” he wrote.

Yash urges audiences to avoid spoilers

Yash also acknowledged the response to the film’s advance bookings and thanked fans for their support. However, he said the excitement should not come at the cost of revealing important moments from the film.

He added, “There's one thing we sincerely request from you, let the experience unfold the way it is meant to. Don't record scenes from the movie in theatres and post them on social media; don't give away story beats and spoilers and ruin it for others.”

The actor concluded his message with another request to viewers, saying, “Let the next person walk into the world of Toxic exactly the way you did.”

Toxic set for theatrical release

Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups is directed by Geetu Mohandas and stars Yash alongside Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth.

According to the figures cited in the source material, the film has recorded around Rs. 41.75 crore in worldwide gross advance bookings, including blocked seats, ahead of its release.
