What’s with these Shamshera love letters?

Why is everyone writing love letters to their own film? How is this one flopping any different from countless other flops before it?

Most of these letters sound like eulogies. Itna melodrama kaiko. Pushpa I hate tears.

This is like Kalank was Madhuri-Sonakshi's flop headlines.

May be to look cool by glorifying the failures. Sabko tragedy kings/queens banne ka shauk hai. I had just read the directors' over-dramatic love letter and mereko laga he has taken himself to be some Guru Dutt 🤓

Sanjay wanted to share the responsibility of the failure as the director put it on himself

I don’t know why it had to start maybe damage control for Ranbir’s Brahmastra

Just to make it look like they made a masterpiece but because of some conspiracy it crashed on it’s 1st day itself. Basically prep work for Brahmastra.

The lack of introspection and the entitlement in the letters is what gets me.

Every film is a "masterpiece" and if it fails, it's because the audience is basic and just didn't know any better. Not because there could be anything wrong with the film itself

They just can’t accept that they made a shit film.
